    Shout out to greg334!

Congrats Greg! I have to say, you must be at a masters level in time management. All that time spent here and others places on the net, and you still have time to get in that cute little truck and move some freight. And, I agree. EO is a special place. I haven't been to a lot of other forums...

    Canada Show me the Money

Canada's independent now, but the Queen's still on the money. Shouldn't they have someone like, say, Dan Ackroyd on there?

    trucks with dogs

What's even more disgusting is when they do that and then walk into the building! When I was in Laredo a couple of weeks ago, I went to the movie theater that's off the Bullock. When I came out there was a straight truck parked next to mine. It was 89 degrees, the truck wasn't running, no...

    Performance/Mileage Enhancement

Your mileage is low Guido, based on what i got with mine. At 70, I'd still be between 18 and 19. Most of the time I was at 20-21, the best ever being 23. I'd say the first thing is to look at the rear end.

    November Location

I'm at the Sawyer, Mi. TA for the night. I'll be dropping freight off in Taylor tomorrow, at Load One, bound for the Great White North. FYI, I94 is shut down due to a fatality accident just east of here. Traffic is being routed off at exit 16.

Have a few questions about bolt??

"Search the archives" is common advice because there's so much a newb can learn from doing it. That type of research can be very mundane, but it's useful. And, what's wrong with telling someone they should be asking the carrier? It's only the best source for answers to questions as specific as...

    Do you know your cars?

I got 16. I was particularly proud of getting BMW right. I was expecting to see Bavarian Motor Works. I guess that year of German in high school paid off.

Changing to cargo van, have questions

Wouldn't that be to satisfy the insurance company? I don't think it's legally required as they aren't commercial vehicles. There are small companies that don't require that or a DOT on the van.

    Just like the Energizer Bunny

Are you changing the filter in the trans? I did filter and fluid changes in my E350 and still had to rebuild at 490k.

    questions

As the Mootster says, same deal. Put the freight in the truck, take it to the consignee. The difference you seem to be talking about is getting your own authority. OOIDA would be a good place to go to get an idea of what's involved in that.

    free membership solution

So, all someone has to do is Photoshop a bunch of "CDLs" and they're good to go with multiple screen names. It would appear the only solution is the status quo.

    Paid memberships

Hmmm... I was in favor of the paid membership, but now you have me rethinking it, Greg. The enjoyment I get from EO would be worth a couple of bucks. But, I wonder if someone with an ax to grind would be put off by 25 or 50 bucks?

What's wrong with those e-mail providers? I use Hotmail and it's the only one I have. I believed it right up to Doggie's post. It's fair to say that Layout's a man who's very passionate about his beliefs. Especially where the military is concerned.

unusual things a gps says to you

No, it's not worth the money. As these things evolve you'd think they'd do less stupid crap. But, this thing does way more dumb things than my 330 did. Here's another recent one. I'm leaving GM metalfab in Indy. You go south, make a right then a quick left and you're at I70. The 465 has me go...

unusual things a gps says to you

I'm sitting @ the Laredo J and my pickup is off the Bullock about a mile east of 35. The trusty 465 wants me to go north on 35, turn around and go back to the Bullock. When I head south, it resets and wants me to turn around at Carrier and still go north. LOL... Gotta love it!
