Here we go again, houses for $1 down

Yep, it is TOTALLY crazy. Then, when they fail, people will make excuses for them. Those who work hard will have to have their wages taken from them and given to the banks to bail them out. Great system. No better incentive to be a bum than the set up we have now.

'SlutWalk' marches sparked by Toronto officer's remarks

Well, there are always people who question or try to belittle people who have the courage of their convictions and the will to live as they chose. Those who do belittle are normally weak people without conviction.

'SlutWalk' marches sparked by Toronto officer's remarks

I have heard of Monty Python. I saw a bit of their stuff years ago. Not my cup of tea. I could not tell you one thing about them. I don't find that sort of thing funny. It would make little difference, I pay little attention to who is playing in what band, comedy group or movies. It is not...

I have no idea who Eric Idle is. Most nuns I knew were fine, dedicated women.

Using Hair for a drug test

"As for a pat down being a sexual assault, do you feel the same about being measured for a custom made pair of pants?" Sure have been measured and have NEVER had anything touched that should not be in the process. I also, when I working in the hunting clothes department at Cabela's, had to...

'SlutWalk' marches sparked by Toronto officer's remarks

Women can dress any way they wish. Just don't complain that men are staring or treating you like a "sex object" if that is how you dress. Women, or men for that matter, don't dress in a "sexy" manner for no reason. They do it to attract attention. Some men might "confuse" sex and rape but...

'SlutWalk' marches sparked by Toronto officer's remarks

No I don't see how one cop saying anything gives credence to this. What I learned in school was rape was more about rage and control than sex or sexy clothing. I don't know why it was brought up in court, as an excuse maybe? As in, she was sexy looking, she made me do it.

Here we go again, houses for $1 down

When responsible people lose a job they take stock. What are my job skills? Have I kept pace with the modern work force? What do I need to do to improve them? What can I do to provide myself with a job? Do I need to move to an area where there is work? "Society" is NOT responsible for...

1 more for the Welfare State Known as Detroit

Yes Cherri, I did NOT mean you personally, I meant society. I think that you will find that there are MANY out there who have no problems reading but have a lot of problems spelling. Spelling in EO posts, frankly, just not all that important. When I have to write something for real these days...

I doubt that clothing is a major contributor to rape. I will say that I am amazed that the "Hookers Union" is not going out on strike. I don't want to hear that women don't like how men look at them when they are half naked on the street. You are what you advertise.

No, you are wrong. Spelling is a related skill but not quite the same as reading. I just believe that everyone is responsible for insuring their own needs. (expect for those who are honestly to impaired to do so) Misspelling, for the most part, will not keep you from finding a job. Not being...

It would sort of makes sense that nails carry the same information. I think though that you would have to remove the nail to get the entire picture. That MIGHT be considered invasive.

Using Hair for a drug test

Yeah, but nails are NOT as ugly a picture. Besides, there are some who remove 100% of their body hair. Would not nails contain the same information?

Yep, it is starting again. NOTHING changes. Get rid of Fanny and Freddie. People SHOULD buy BELOW what they can afford. SMALLER than they might want. ETC ETC. Yes, some have lost homes to job loss. How many of those would NOT have been lost had they NOT been living above their means to start...
