    June Location

Happy June right back at ya! You should almost be done shoveling snow at this point? I'm at the Pilot in Memphis, In. I'll be back in service after a minor repair on the Rigmaster. (Imagine that, another Rigmaster repair.)

    Good Co-driver for O/O contract?

Read what I posted again. They're 2 different amounts. The person paying for the fuel is entitled to the FSC.

    Good Co-driver for O/O contract?

There would be a dollar figure for the linehaul and a figure for the fuel surcharge. Your cut would come from the linehaul. The only concern I can see would be that the owner may play with the numbers in a way not favorable to you.

    Caffee's Cascadia

I'm considering tandem, but with a "dead" axle. I may well end up going the same way you did. Have you seen 12mpg yet?

    Caffee's Cascadia

Was your decision to go with a pusher axle instead of tandem strictly an excise tax issue, or was there more to it?

    Volvo large truck engines ?

He said benz, as in Mercedes- Benz, not Bentz. I have the small Mercedes and have had no valve issues. It did have the EGR cooler replaced when it was still under warranty. I believe the fact that I don't idle is a big part of the good luck I've had. (Highway Star knocks on wood.) The truck...

    Tornado Relief Logistical Help!

As is obvious to anyone that reads the thread, the desire to help is first and foremost. Having said that, it would be foolish not to take advantage of any write offs Uncle Sam may offer.

    The Decision is now final

I'd be very concerned about that. Bigger drive train components could be a problem prematurely. Didn't you post something similar to this a couple years ago? The whole "ready to pull the trigger" thing?

Thanks A Team, sure hope you were right!

The "all miles" sounds good for a regional truck, but one that does a lot of coast to coast, there's a big cha-ching for the Fed.

    What is it about idling?

Matlack, sounds like it's time for new batteries. You should be able to go much longer than that. Sometimes the idling is throwing a charge back into the batteries, running the microwave, ect. But, yeah, there are those that are just stupid with it. I'll never have a truck without a generator.

Turtle, did Moot's elevated decible levels sound anything like the old guy down the street yelling at the kids to get out of his yard? Posted with my Droid EO Forum App
