On the constitutionality of being Homosexual

I find it most interesting that those who scream, insult, and protest about my supposed lack of "tolerance" are, without exception, completely intolerant of my beliefs and opinions. I really like Dr. Benjamin Carson's statement that "Political Correctness" has gone way too far. Let everyone...

    The orange box trucks.

If the driver has a CDL, its no logs, red tag, & bad FMCSA points on the carrier. If the driver doesn't have a CDL, the officer may shoot you & roll you into a ditch.

    The orange box trucks.

You could add they the don't speak English or understand American road signs but then you would have to include OVM too!!! :D

    The orange box trucks.

I can tell you for a fact that they do NOT hold their GVWR to under 10,000 lbs. Practically all of the are really rated 12,300 lbs. by Chevy, even though every one of them have "under 10,000 GVW" cheap vinyl stick on letters/numbers on the door. And even though they weigh close to 8,000 lbs...

Is TRI-STATE RUNNING or are they SITTING like MOST Carriers?

I would say, under the terms and conditions as you've listed, that it is going to be very tough to find a carrier that runs the way you want to. However if you like driving old yellow vehicles and speak Russian, you may be able to find a job in Chicago.

    New Tactics

I haven't had any of the super heavy loads thrown at me BUT they are almost all over 2,000 lbs. which used to be $1.00 a mile, now $0.80 a mile. Just lost another $160 to the new rate, probably averaging a loss of $300 a week. But it makes a lot of sense - do the math - 333 trucks x $300 a...

The Load One Dream Team ; Fact or Fiction?

I'm pretty sure he would have been talking about Express-1's Sprinter rate, which was cut from $1.00 per mile to $0.80 per mile, both plus a fuel surcharge added. This rate does not change as its a flat rate, period. I cannot speak with authority about Load-1's compensation, but I am fairly...

Westmicher's New XLT 10 Project Begins!

Actually, I weighed her Sunday. She' at 5,820 without the back door but with the floor. She'll be over 6,000 finished but not by a lot. I can live with that.

    A question for Load1....

If you read my other posts, you would know I do not believe in "run less miles for even less money." I'll make no such request.

    A question for Load1....

I never used Load-1 tools in any way. It was ANOTHER carrier OTHER than Load-1. Their "search for equipment" tool no longer works at all. I sense they may not see any value in it. Load-1 COULD set up another password protected tool just for their drivers which would be useful I am certain.

    A question for Load1....

We could also see the size & weight capacities of each to determine if we could carry significantly larger and/or heavier loads to help us decide the need to move. The only information that would have been of additional value would be fields for haz-mat and solo/team (E-1 will not allow solos...

    A question for Load1....

There WAS a "search for equipment" tool has was on another carrier's web site that was very useful because we could see truck numbers. In concert with the QualComm, it enabled us to see where NOT to go. If the QualComm told us there was 4 trucks in Louisville ahead of us for instance, by using...

I am ANGRY....and do not know where to direct it.....

I think new Sprinters will pretty much go extinct within a year because of the new Ford, Fiat, & Nissan. MB simply cannot compete with the cost-like-sin Sprinter.

    New cell carrier recommendation?

I really think it is Verizon or poor/slow data.

    New cell carrier recommendation?

There are inexpensive signal amplifiers available. I think I still have one somewhere around here. It consists of an antenna that you mount as high as you can facing the tower that serves you, about 40' of coax, and a transmitter you place in an optimal location in your home. The farther...
