Allowing rumors to flow is never good. I understand that no one individual means anything to a company, but, the sort of thing that is going on is just wrong. IF they are moving away from O/O reefer/TVAL trucks SAY SO and when the break will happen. A little honesty goes a long way.

The big problem is that, at least so far, everything that I have looked into to date pays even LESS than what I am making now. Hard to move for less money. Going broke makes more sense. :(

I would take $1.40 IF I needed to get home and it was headed that way, better than DH. I like to get AT LEAST $1.60 for dry freight. More if it has "add on's". Everyone has different ideas, I think that many out here are far too willing to run cheap. That is contributing to the rates...

Nope, it was not a good rate 6 years ago when fuel was a lot lower than it is today. It is a VERY bad rate now. Not much better than DH money.

We have a "D" unit and it is a REAL pain in Manhattan. What is sad is that we know our way in and out.

It will NOT be fun but one has to do what one has to do. I just lost a week and a ton of money to repairs. I have to make it up somehow. It pays good, I take it. The hassle is just part of the business.
