    log question

As OVM is a $printer driver... the answer is "as many as you can safely drive". As OVM is also a Canadian, if driving a vehicle over 10,000 lbs. (in these United States) for him it's some crazy number like 4.55 metric hours!!!! :D

It is a different view of the world, that's for sure... sitting higher and with substantially more glass and/or field of view than my $printer or E350 is going to take a little getting used to... but should be safer being able to see more. The optional storage right above the visor is an...

    Dodge Promaster

Our new Promaster is not signed on to our broker carrier yet but our first 400 miles getting her ready have returned 18.4 mpg. We drive gently and keep her at 62 mph or below. I fully expect the mpg to increase somewhat as she's broken in. I'm very pleased overall!

    It's a Team's Life Indelicate Subject : It's a Teams Life

We had a nice, brand new porta-potty in our truck as we left Michigan for a run to California. It worked very well... just go into the bowl and when done, quickly open the trap door and flush water at the same time so no odor escaped from the tank. We tested it on a camping trip and it was the...

That would be unloaded @ 55 mph probably... NOT likely an average.

OK... Some more real information on my 159" extended Promaster. It is really rated to carry 4,308 lbs and there is no estimated mpg on the sticker... it's over the GVW limit requiring such government ratings. It is rated 9,350 GVW total. In the place of the rating, a big N/A is printed. Real...

    Dodge Promaster

Any day on the Load boards I see many 2500 $printers claiming they can carry 3,500 lbs. or even more. The door sticker on my Promaster says I can carry 4,217 lbs. so using the $printer capacity I've seen, I can carry more than 5,000 lbs!!!

My Promaster is the 159" extended version and is pretty well loaded. I just paid $36,820 for it. For every two $printers I can almost buy 3 Promasters... :D I have another on order...

Actually, I bought mine to do both... compete against $printers HAULING FREIGHT! I see now that your complaint is NOT that the engine rated in the top ten engines of 2013 is underpowered... but perhaps not as durable as you need. Gas engines of the past had some durability problems but modern...

280 horsepower is underpowered??? I can tell you firsthand that a race against a $printer, loaded or unloaded, will leave the $printer in a ditch without any of its doors in sight!!! :p

    Dodge Promaster

I thought trucks & vans didn't have any MPG quoted on their stickers??? I guess I'll find out soon enough, because my new 159" wheelbase extended Promaster arrived at the dealer Saturday... picking it up this Friday... checking the mpg with the first tank!

    Dodge Promaster

At what average speed do you get 17 mpg? At 70 mpg average, 17 would be good. I would expect 18 MPG @ 62-63 average mph... which is the speed I drive at.

The guy who brought my $printer works for them... He shared his account info with me... He was averaging 0.85 to $0.90 a mile, all in. And he was getting about 1,000 miles a week but seemed happy with it. I do not know how hard he hustled though... The low miles could have been his fault. He...
