    Bagteria

Yep, it's scary, lol - before I quit carrying a purse, in favor of clothes with pockets, I used to carry a book in it, because, as Leo mentioned, it can double as a pretty nifty weapon! ;)

    Did I miss something?

I forgot to add: "reality" programming, and even more so, "news" , is far cheaper to produce than something with a script written by someone with at least half a brain, so that's what you will see the most of. And even though I really likes 'Frazier" & 'Seinfeld" & a lot of other shows, if I...

    Did I miss something?

THawk, that's why I kept myself from doing a rockstar impression, throwing it out the window - because I can watch what I want, when I want, & pause it when I want refreshment, or rewind it if I'm not sure I heard that right, or was laughing so much I missed the next bit, all without commercial...

    Stopped for speeding

:7 Teehee, Dreamer - hope you drew a cop who has a dog, he'd probly believe you, because every dog owner knows that some dogs get themselves into some silly predicaments...Mine used to walk around with a potato chip bag on her head, crashing into everything, till she could get it off, which took...

    They walk among us..

Thanks for the giggles - though the one about the lost luggage was from Bill "Here's your sign" Engvall. A few morefrom Bill, who thinks stupid people should wear signs, so the rest of us wouldn't ask questions of them: Passerby, seeing man putting coat hanger in window of parked car: "Locked...

    Rhonda Mitchell-Freightliner of Knoxville

Like Dave says, it's nice to hear, so I'd print out the positive feedback, & mail it to the person/place that inspired it, too, adding a thanks for going above & beyond the job requirements. ;)

    Red Light Camera

Sometimes it seems that the triggers are located where they will be tripped by a vehicle in the curb lane - who then turns right on the red light, anyway. But at least it gets triggered - one of my pet peeves is the driver who won't pull up far enough to trigger it! Granted, you can't pull up...

    Useful web sites

Ditto - especially the last one, which is something that could save a lot of time in a pinch. Thanks for the news we could use!:) :)

    TruckStop and Rigs

That was what the 'dying of thirst in the ocean' anology meant: there are trees, brazillions of them - but not a one that shades the parking spots! In a van, McDonald's is usually a good place to find shade, or WalMart. But not the truckstops, they're like public swimming pools: good luck...

    Newbie with questions

That's a good question for "Ask the Recruiter"!

    Hi all

If you've been reading here awhile, then I hope you feel welcome to ask questions, add your opinion, toss in a joke now & then, even an occasional firecracker - keeping it lively, informative, and above all - civil, is what makes this site so great. It's a community, and that puts it far above...

    Did I miss something?

What annoyed me about television, was anticipating an interesting, or funny program, then finding it so chopped by commercials, I couldn't enjoy it at all, so I just quit watching. All the teasers in the world can't persuade me to watch a program anymore. I'd have really enjoyed throwing it out...

    New to posting...looking for feedback

Except for Terry's valid point, it sounds like y'all are doing a good job, encouraging the drivers, & not being greedy. But that said, why not ask your drivers what they would like? Nobody knows better than the person doing the job - and the bosses I would work hardest for are the ones who ask...

    Red Light Camera

It apparently works - the Denver Police tested it, on the video, & it did exactly what it says it will do. Bet they make a mint selling it in Cleveland, Ohio, where drivers generate big bucks for the city, county, and state. We thought George Orwell's "1984" was science fiction, didn't we?

    TruckStop and Rigs

BigBusBob, hey! Good to see you back, even though you're not your usual fun self at this moment - but we all have days like that. And you've always brought a lot of info & laughs with you, so I say keep on posting! I'm at the Spartanburg TA at mm 63, though thought it was the Detroiter for a...

    Passwords

Acronym, anagram - anyone could get confused, lol - but they are both mnemonics, anyway.... This is an example of the way my brain is so stuffed with useless trivia, that I can't remember the stuff I want, sometimes. Thanks - 'preciate it. :7

    Paid tourist

TeamCaffee just told me it's not open yet - everything looks ready, but no go. When I was there a few weeks ago, they were doing the final hiring, so maybe the delay has to do with that - can't get enough English speaking applicants, maybe?

    Men`s View

And it's just about as funny as everything else that comes from the mouth of a drunk guy, too.
