    neweee

Welcome to EO, Jey, and good luck to you - though you can improve on luck considerably by reading the great help offered here, and maybe attending a seminar or two, sponsored by EO - it's priceless help, offered for free - what a great combination! :)

    Feline Frustration

Greg, you're being silly - it costs money because this is America, and that's the capitalistic way! When you have a captive audience, take advantage of it! There's no free lunch, etc, etc, etc. :P

More Photos of SuperTruck & MATS

Wow, Lawrence - you look pretty 'Chrome Shop Mafia', yourself, there, lol. :P

    Illegals working on DOD contract!!!

Arkjar and OVM have some really creative thinking going, but Greg's solutions are something that actually ought to be done - I hope we can get some elected leadership that will make it happen.

    Your all time favorite

Guess the skeleton missed the advert in another post on here... My favorite joke: an Irishman walked out of a bar. ;)

Greatest Rock Song of all time?

I saw him live three times, and he was awesome every one of them - even though he didn't do "Tin Pan Alley" ...BTW, Moot's a SRV fan, too, and we both like a duet between SRV & BB King, called "Matchbox", which is a paradoxically humerous blues song - with absolutely GREAT guitar riffs! Now...

    Feline Frustration

You gotta love those monthly 'safety quizzes' we have to fill out & send in - first they tell you all the answers, then they ask the questions. Just in case you don't remember the answer, you can scroll back up to it, which leaves me wondering "What exactly is the point here?" Finishing one...

    A tale of two houses

I don't have any firm opinions on Al Gore, but I sure do on George Bush - and the ranch in Crawford would be the first thing about him that I can admire. It is a very impressive statement, no doubt. Neither side of the aisle is all bad or all good, and both sides are pretty much bought & paid...

Greatest Rock Song of all time?

Don't think I could pick just one either, but it would be one of these: Bob Seger, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Van Morrison, or Dire Straits. Or maybe Meat Loaf's "Paradise by the dashboard light"!;)

    Trees with Purple Buds

I just drove through Tennessee today, lol, and it is indeed, gorgeous! I think the prettiest trees are: flowering dogwood, redbud, crabapple, and ornamental cherry. Do a bit of research before choosing one, so you get the size and shape you want, as well as one that grows well in your climate &...

Things to learn in your first 90 days

I got the 'are you rolling?' beep just this morning, one hour and ten miles from the consignee, and I don't do 'late', so it annoys me, too - especially since when they ask if you're rolling, you pretty usually are, so you can think up all kinds of great replies, but not be able to send them.x(

What do owner's expect drivers to be able to do?

RE: What do owner's expect drivers to be able to d See, that proves my point: I am not a real mechanic, but even I can check fluid levels, and change the bulbs...And as for using a Philips screwdriver to remove the lens cover, when it was a hex key that was called for - hey, it could happen to...

    Catch my daughters interview

Attaboy, TallCall! You have good reason to be proud of your daughter, and not just today, either.

    gps!

Cool! I read something a couple years ago, about parents testing a program like that, checking on the whereabouts of their clueless teenagers, but it didn't list a website. Any parent of a teenager is going to enjoy finding the info, lol - don't know about everyone else, though...I can see where...

    Back Off!

The big trucks that proclaim "We're delivering someone's baby" always make me smile - it's a BMW inside.

What do owner's expect drivers to be able to do?

RE: What do owner's expect drivers to be able to d This thread is not about doing pretrips, it's about who's expected to fix the problems found on a pre or post trip. For myself, if it's anything I can do, I'd sure rather get it done & get back to making money, than wait for a mechanic to take...

Sorry but this has to be said

You may be right. But it's a double edged sword: a LOT of people feel that Mr Edwards should drop the campaign, and spend what will most likely be the last few years of his wife's life his family, instead of letting them further his ambition.

    Federal attorneys fired, who cares?

I guess it's true that all the attorneys could be fired, if the President wished, but this particular President has a history of believing that the law doesn't apply to him, so any 'gray area' is going to be looked at very closely. We know that Mr Gonzales lied about the firings when first...

Sorry but this has to be said

You doubt that she is really having a recurrence? If you have been paying attention, how did you miss the announcement, when Mrs. Edwards was accompanied by her oncologist? Or do you think the doctor is in on a faked ploy for sympathy? Which, incidentally, could backfire, if that's what it is...
