Ftwayne, if you're going to get your boxers in a bunch over what kind of profit the carrier is making, as opposed to what you are making yourself, then you're probably not going to be satisfied with any carrier. In which case, having your own authority is the way to go - but many of us feel that...

I hope they never label it as Freight of all kinds, expedited - FAKE could cause some trouble with Customs, I bet.

    FAQ

I don't 'know' that it's a computer term, really - just assumed it is, cause I never saw it before it began appearing on websites. And I'm one of those dorks who actually read the usermanuals, so if it had been there, I'd have seen it. My current area of interest, since you asked, would be...

    FAQ

No, Fish, I didn't think you had a problem with the change - just thought the question of 'how many' is one no one could answer. Since FAQ is a computer term, it stands to reason that some will be unfamiliar with it, (heck, it took me weeks to figure out what it meant!) so why not make it easier...

Have all my fingers & toes crossed that the news is just as good for John, too, who is also fighting the inhuman enemy of cancer. My best wishes to all who...

    florida

The traditional view is that there isn't nearly as much freight coming out of Fl as going in. There are certainly loads coming out, but DH is a strong possibility, so you might want to factor that into the decision of whether to take a load int Fl.

    Birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Since I'm the expediter, and not the expedited, late is just as nice, ok? Thanks for the kind wishes, I 'preciate it. (Real drivers always leave the first syllable off the word "appreciate", I notice) I have a question, now, which I'm sure none of you can sanswer from personal experience, but...

    Icons, photos

To choose a photo that appears with your username, click on 'user menu', then on 'edit profile', then on 'choose avatar' link, which will open a box full of images to choose from. (IMO, but not whomever is in charge of these things, an avatar should be removed from the list, once it's chosen -...

    Signs

Somewhere, there is a t/t with signs on the back of the trailer: on the left, the sign says "Passing side" on the right, it says "Suicide!" I think that makes it pretty clear.

    Verizon vs Sprint ??

I use a Verizon aircard for internet access, and have not seen any speed issues while downloading audiobooks. The issues I have experienced have to do with location: large cities have high speeds, generally, and out in the boondocks is comparable to dial up.
