    Canada Meds

DO NOT put the pills in any container other then the ones they came in. Even here in the states, keep them in what they came in. Vitamins and supplements too. The pill-a-day organizer may be alright but may not be - all depends on the mood of the officer. Remember that ICE does not follow the...

I Just Received My EXPEDITE KING Card!

Turtle, I wonder if the fuel discounts that the carriers get, like FedEx and Landstar also include gas too? It isn't just a comdata discount, FedEx uses Tchek. But with that said I really feel that there isn't much of an advantage of having points when you; can't use the to buy a shower...

    12 ft.Box Truck

The lift gate should add something like 600 to 900 lbs to the weight of the truck, with a cargo capacity of say 2000 lbs, that may leave you with a capacity of 1100 to 1400 lbs when the lift gate is added. Even though it is aluminum, it may not be a needed thing in this business.

What EVERYONE should know! Broke Down! Now What?

It is a good article. For many out there in EO land who are accidental expediters, they don't understand that this is a business and sometimes they are driven to get things done for the company while endangering themselves or further damaging the truck. Mr Heater, Revisited

Chef, How long does it last for you? I used to use mine on super low, and a pound would last about 8 hours with it being about 10 degrees outside. If it was warmer than that, I would have to shut the thing off.

Re: 1st post: any companies give you complete choice over when, where, if you take a I skipped over most of this, but here is the thing that stood out; Actually that's not how it works. You as a BCO still have a responsibility to Landstar. I thought FedEx was kind of hard with their rules...

how many miles will a 8.3cummins last

well I tell people to do it themselves because there is a lot that can be hidden by the owner. The owner should not have any issue with having you check the thing out yourself. When I bought this one, I paid for everything, ecm dump to the OA and the OA for the reefer unit. It wasn't that I...
