Well I meant the thermo electric generation thing, not the other stuff. But seeing you brought it up, and as I said in the other thread - it is a bit hard to believe an NDA will be in place for exhaust parts. I didn't even get as far as the domain name stuff, I just can't believe the address...

Yea that's the ticket. They won't argue with the driver and may actually agree with a better rate.

18 Signs That America Is Rotting Right In Front Of Our Eyes

I get so d*mn sick of this crap, no offense Chef. Part of the issues is this idea that the teachers and the state had an agreement on a pension but it seems that these people are costing us too much in the way of funding our kids education. Maybe this agreement should be treated the same as...

Patenting a device? OK I don't want to sound like I am bashing you but there are a few companies that may have beat you to that, Hi-Z is one and another is BMW. It's not new and many have done a lot of work on this very subject, Hi-Z got a kilowatt out of the exhaust system but that was an...

OH movement update - I went outside and took my tires off the van, then went to the workshop to grab a 3/4 to 1/2 drive impact adapter but couldn't find any of them so I used my 1 inch drive IR impact wrench with a 19mm socket to remove the lug nuts off my little caravan. Then I back in the...

Does OVM also scare your cats? One of mine is petrified to come near the computer since she saw him in those shorts.

    I Am Shocked...

I wonder why a $10 an hour dispatcher needs to be looking at a website, do your job and keep the trucks moving.

Future hiring will mainly benefit the high-skilled

It was once said; "We here at the UAW beleive in fair wages for the work done." then they refused to help a company out when they needed. Instead the company built plants in Mexico and China ... and now ... "we here at the UAW believe in working with the company in order to strike an accord...

It wasn't too bad, had a back up at the dog's dish waiting for Rover Transport to move her butt out of traffic and one where the cats knocked down their toy container but otherwise it was an uneventful trip.

Where do you get your Truck Pipes From?

I would but my where I get my exhaust parts isn't on the list. So you are one of four manufacturers of exhaust parts for most of the manufacturers in the US? Both Walker and Tenneco are OEM suppliers for the truck companies - they are on Freightliner's vendor list and one of them I used as a...

How do you calibrate a m2's speedo

It's done through software and the J1939 port - it is all electronic and has been for a long long time. Why do you need it done? Tire change?

Pay-as-you-drive meter poised to enter market

I'm kind of liking the idea of pay as you go insurance. Sometimes the van will sit for a month or two and we still pay the insurance on it. If I don't have to drive, then I shouldn't have to pay.
