If solos were making 35%, like they were a few years ago, and teams 40%, the compensation would even out a lot more. That extra 5% to the teams covered the fact that teams didn't do twice the miles solos did. Now, owners, in general, make it more profitable to solos; and they wonder why they...

I agree with what you said about there being no such thing as a solo or team load... to most companies. That's the mentality we're trying to change here. We as drivers and o/os have that distinction, and we're trying to make it clear to companies that we do consider loads to be acceptable or not...

You didn't say if you're planning on a t/t or straight. Either way, you should be able to meet your goals, depending on how much time you want to put in the truck. With a team, you should far exceed those goals, tho some months may be a little short. Also, with Landstar, you may be a little slow...
