Back from town and Josie is getting into my chicken....

With the good soaking that the garden got, I'll just bet that the first crop of weeds is already poking thru...lol

Got a good bit planted today between the sprinkles...onions, shallots, garlic, leeks, green onions, spinach, collards, carrots, beets, peas and radishes. And we've had sprinkles of rain for most of the afternoon and more on the way, so I don't have to water it..................yet..

Where the heck is that rain? it should be here by now but not a drop yet...thinking I've got enough time to plant a row of leeks and green onions.....

I've been busy since you left m'dear...got that last section of landscape fabric down and watered all the flower beds, and made a hamburger patty with sweet potato fries and got the dishes done...wish you were here!:D

Ken's vacation is offically over for now..he just left for Rapid for an early morning appointment with the dealer so I can quit cooking now and get that dang garden planted. House sure is quiet when he leaves though......

Boy...and I was just wondering why a charmer such as yourself is still single? :rolleyes:

Thanks to the hubby..I now have a yellow primrose lilac bush, two yellow mandevillas and another raspberry bush planted..life is good!;)

It's a slow roasted pork roast....roasted over low heat with onions, garlic, homemade barbeque sauce and then pulled gently apart with a couple of forks.. Delicious on home made buns and with fresh cole slaw.. :)

g'morning guys! Yup...it's just about time..he brought what little rain we've gotten this year with him and then the winds started. Besides that his honey do list was a little too short...he even started cleaning up the garage...lol

It sure is nice to see everyone moving! I may have to send Ken back out so this dang wind stops!;)
