    Hey Mr. Expediter.....

I'm curious... what do you mean by she hasn't done anything for NY? What is it you think she should've done? I'd take McCain with me. Drive down Jellicho and Fancy Gap going 90, and hopefully he'll have a coronary. Then drop him off in Arkansas, while parking the truck on top of Huckabee...

    Roberts Express memories

What does that tell ya? Ten more years from now the norm will be 96", and the super sleeper will include a jacuzzi and a Philipino masseuse standard. :D

    Roberts Express memories

Lawrence... were the sleepers really that big compared to the rest of the truck? I seem to remember them being closer to the actual size on the screen. :p

21 Years and you're out of here!!!

Good luck! And glad to see you've made a wise move in weighing out the reality of this biz. If you do the same with big rig companies, I don't see you having a problem. If you need help find a home in the big rig, I suggest you check out the forums at this place. Everything - the good, bad, and...

    Unfrickinbelivable

$.40 for my troubles. I'll be generous and say I avg 2500 miles/week. That's $1000. Now, let's be realistic and say 1500 miles/week. $600 is not what I'd say is worth being out here. If I put my numbers in (1.25+fsc=1.5625) I get $2343.75. Using your formula of .80 off the top, would put the...

    Nfl

Haven't posted here in quite awhile. It took THAT long to get over the Hawks' loss to the Packas. :D It's that time of the year for weird, funky stuff to happen in the NFL. Coaching changes, free agents changing hands, and the all too serious draft combines are upon us. To me, this is almost...

    Drivers Council Meeting

Jim... set me straight. Is Babs saying you posted Critter's post? The fact that Critter runs for X1, and not Panther, might be a reason the Panther site is useless to him. ;)

    Unfrickinbelivable

Thank you, Cheri! The arguement that we should be honored and privilaged to have a customer grace our truck with his products, regardless of the rate, is rediculous. If that's the way it is, I should go back home, get a pizza flipping job, and tell them I'll work overtime for half wages...

    When I was 17

Jeff... appreciate the offer. As much as I've enjoyed my runs to FL, I think I'll stay in MI for now. Not my choice. LOL Funny how we bought our house 5 yrs ago, and now it's worth less than what we owe. Thank you Comrade Cocopuff!!! And the stuff happening in Detroit with Mayor Qwami the...

    When I was 17

It's amazing how one decision can change the rest of your life. For me, it was going back to Michigan, rather than staying in TN. I took the easy way out, and that I regret. Other than that, I just wish I'd met my woman about 10 years earlier. Everything is good!

    When is a D is better than a C

You're right, Leo. That IS a bad analogy! :D

Let's add another tier to the cake of disrespect

Star... I tried decifering that. Came up with something x rated; so I won't post my results. :D

    When is a D is better than a C

If what you're saying is true, Redy, then you'd get 25% more loads in a D. That should be enough for most. My % of D loads is more like 35-40% Phil... yes, I'd say a CR may not be much different than a DR, as far as revenue. But if we're talking C to D, that's a whole different story. You have...

    Question for Hino Owners

Why would I kill you? I agree with you! As long as the older FL-70 with the 3126 CAT engine doesn't belong to me. But then, we both know I'd never own one of those. ;)

    When is a D is better than a C

I agree with Jim in that the difference in operating costs is negligable. In a time that freight opportunities are drastically lower, wouldn't you want every chance to load your truck? A C might give me comfort of body; but a D would give me comfort of mind.

    1st Outs

I see two sides to this. One is what you're saying. It's not fair. First out is a tool to make undesirable loads more inviting; not to automatically make you #1 after every drop. The other is that this is a business. You are a competitor to this guy. If he has enough nads to consistantly ask...

    the real Hillary

Isn't it funny how ppl will twist the truth to benefit their own hatred of a certain person/people? It happens on all sides. Today I heard that the NYTimes printed a story about McCain having an affair. They did so without proof, witness, nada. The exec editor said he even had major doubts about...

    Some good news about Panther

Very true, Alborada. Their opinion of you is very different than yours. To you, you are running your truck to make a profit for you, so you can pay your bills. To them, you are running your truck to make a profit for THEM, so they can pay THEIR bills. Of course there will be a conflict of...

    the real Hillary

Turtle... law students have been helping outside of court for a long time. There are many student groups who take up cases of those who are believed innocent. They routinely do the leg work for court staff, by running or researching law. Not saying Hillary was a Panther helper. To me, that...
