Good morning world..the heavens finally opened up and poured on this poor parched piece of earth last night and it's a cool 62 degrees here right now..high of 73 today so the AC is getting a rest today!

My grasshoppers are getting fat off of my garden..but yesterday I hobbled out on my crutch and picked a big bag of peas. Took me about 3 hours to shell them all. When I went out in the evening to move the sprinkler I noticed that my green beans are ready to pick too...I just may beat the hoppers...

Ahem...today I weeded the peppers, eggplant and sweet potatoes and did enjoy that single banana pepper I found on my taco salad today!!!!!! c'mon rain dangit!

I'm under a thunderstorm watch...it's still 95 degrees out so I'm gonna go do a rain dance and try to get some of that wet stuff!!!!!!

I seem to be watering the grasshoppers food...boy are they ever abundant..they were even on the corn this morning.. I do have tomatoes on the vine now..itty bitty ones but they are there! I just want to pick those dang peas before they get eaten up too!

what I heard was that if you didn't pay the penalty and didn't buy insurance, they couldn't penalize you for not paying the penalty..Also..If the states don't want to go along with the medicaid changes, the feds can't take away what they already have in medicaid..

Good morning all...man what a difference the temp is this morning..clear crisp 62 degrees after a smouldering 104 yesterday. AND my ankle feels better..might even try to drive the truck today...almost out of chocolate...*lol*
