I feel pretty lucky I was able to hobble out to turn on the water to the garden and let it soak for a couple of hours..looks the peas are ready to be picked and OMG the weeds look like they're winning..c'mon dang foot...get better..I need to get busy!

Good morning gang...what a fun morning. Cat woke me up crying to go out, so I hop on the crutches and head for the front door realizing that all the windows were still open and it was freezing in here...picture crazy cat woman speed closing windows on crutches...fun!:eek:

Good morning gang...just wanted to say thanks for all your get well wishes..I'd have been a little bit quicker but for some reason I can't post from my Kindle..It's feeling better but am still hobbling on the crutches and keeping the weight off the sore ankle...Thanks again guys and girls!!:)

We're down to the grunt work now...Ken's spreading the gravel and I'm pulling weeds.. oh wait...that's outside...we're chillin in the AC right now... Kinda nice to have my hubby home...this sure is a big place to keep up! :)

Well my garden is thriving...the sweet potatoes had to be covered for a couple of nights, but they're looking pretty perky this morning. We've had enough rain so I haven't had to water for a few days, but now the sun is here. The corn is getting pretty big and with the sun it should be reaching...
