    Thursdays???

Of course they do. That's where all the "preferred customer" and NLM cheap freight is. :p

    AOL News

A talk show guy was saying yesterday that Exxon/Mobil pays more taxes than the whole bottom half of income tax payers in the US. That made me think... DUH! If they're paying THAT much in taxes, they're making THAT much off gas! He tried to make it like it's government's fault. Fact is, it's BOTH...

    Pets- Cranberry Coast Cats

Thanx. That brought back memories of a documentary on a certain Eastern country and their eating habits. Visions of them actually showing how the cats are prepared is something I'd rather not remember. :p

    New Harvard Study On Iraq

I don't put the blame on protesters for the deaths of our servicemen or emboldening the enemy. I blame the media. When a pro-war protest meets an anti-war protest, the media will focus on the anti-war one, even if the pro-war is five times as strong. Then, they'll show it in a way to appear many...

    New Harvard Study On Iraq

Alright. Cut the personal attacks. This is supposed to be a civil forum where we discuss issues. Not a free-for-all where names and personal attacks reign. Relax. Breathe. Sing Kumbaya. Whatever! But stop the insults! Robsdad... you know this is a debate forum. If you can't keep up with the...

    help with questions regarding panther

Sometimes the same song and dance needs updating. The more times we cover the same topic, the easier it'll be for a newb to find it.

    New Harvard Study On Iraq

Turtle... have you ever seen the Bugs Bunny cartoon where Bugs and Daffy go back and forth with "Rabbit season, duck season"? Well your last reply reminded me of Daffy zipping up to Bugs with his mouth open, ready to chew him out. And Bugs (you) simply says "yaays?"; and Daffy's jaw drops with...

Bad contract. Does that mean you get paid if there's a fuel tax rebate? In that case, you could easily fuel in the highest IFTA states and make money that way. That is the reason the one paying for fuel should be the ONLY one dealing with the taxes. Tho I disagree with any deductable escrow...

    60/40 revisited?

In your case, I'd agree, to a point. It's good to tutor newbies on the intricacies of their particular company. However, even knowledgable owners aren't out here, and don't hear when TX or GA freight is good or bad at any particular time. But overall, newbs tend to please their company by taking...

    60/40 revisited?

I didn't make it clear OVM and I were talking about E-1 in particular. I agree about the FSC being smaller with bigger customers. When the fsc is a fixed amount, something has to give. In E-1 and FXCCs' cases, it's the rate. And when you have drivers making 40% and no fsc, that is the scenario...

Shame shame, Robsdad. You really should stop drinking Hillary's kool-aid; lest you find yourself in Jonestown. Regardless of what you believe, we have to show strength, and willingness to not back down, in order to gain true respect from the Arab world. If successful, an Iraqi democracy would...

In other words, the savings the customers get are passed on as a lower rate for the contractors. Geez... I know my wife has a hard time understanding me. But I didn't know it was a Canadian thing. :D

    60/40 revisited?

Are you mean the rate or the title? One time customers should know that volume fits into the equation. If Express-1 is never gonna see that customer again, they shouldn't get a premium rate. Once a customer's freight is on my truck, they too are a preferred customer. ;) Something you may want...

Here's a suggestion on litter. Use the wheat litter. It's a little more expensive, but lasts a LOT longer. Just make sure you scoop after they go. It also doesn't have quite the litter smell!
