    El Nibble Nook

Which one? The BLoomfield place is good, the one on Grand River has ok food, there are a lot better places in Mexican Village (**town) but the one place I like is the Argentinian place on Bagley which I can't remember the name, they serve really good Mexican food.

    Hours of Work/Sleep Habits?

You are leaving out an important part of the question - what vehicle are you talking about. Because you said OTR, I think you are talking about straight trucks. SO there is a 10 hour reset, it helps all of us adjust to sleep.

    How about a shotgun?

Same thing as I said before, ever use one in close quarters? A shotgun has an uncontrolled pattern, can do some damage. I agree with Phil, maybe you need to rethink the on the road thing.

    Should we worry?

Didn't make it to Cornwall, didn't board the plane with nothing to do. I wanted to go but other matters were pressing at the time. However I have been served both versions of tea when I worked for a family from Devon/Cornwall. The business had parts and equipment flown in daily from England...

Well thanks, I do understand the coney thing, that was breakfast today for me - yum. OVM, she's having BBQ today. She does a mean BBQ, Southern trained in the art. If you can get there before she invites anyone else, than you will have a great dinner.

    Sprinter Curb weights and Payloads?

Yep dually... BUT there is a flat floor to the box I will have. Two pallets side by side, and a lot of room for the big screen, the surround sound and theater seating. You saw that frito truck too? I didn't think much of it until I got into one to see what they did, neat.

    Straightruck or Tractor/trailer?

Look at cabover tractors. The sod company down the road from my place has newer Fords with trailers and they are great for manuvering into and out of these tight subdivisions.

    the cargo van expediter

Actually dude I would head up there and try it out. Don't worry about what they say, take the knowledge of what everything is said and learn. Oh and I didn't send you a PM. :o

Thanks for the invite, waiting for the wife to finish her stuff so we can head to garden city and clean out the rest of the in-laws house. Seriously though, I am asking for someone else who I keep telling needs to do her own posting but because I get free dinners at my favorite place, I do her...

Ok this all sounds great or I'm dreaming. So let me ask these questions; Say I get a sprinter, not one of them 2500 that can't take much but a 3500 that has maybe 3500 lbs of payload, will Load-1 keep it running before those OVM style lightweights? What else don't you charge for? What do...

    Sprinter Curb weights and Payloads?

NP, I thought the same for a while too after I was corrected by someone (I think it was Piper). I asked a couple D-C people who went with MB and they sent me this big thick manual with all kinds of stupid info like GVW and dimensions. Right there on the list of N-A vehicles is a 3500 extended WB...

Some tidbits presented to the ATA Conference

You do know there is a little talk about more Carrier Enforcement officers being brought online in the near future due to the money maker it is. With 8% of the tickets being contested from out of state truckers, they see dollar signs on every truck coming into the state. However, they do now...

    the cargo van expediter

You're welcome but I got to say there are no experts in this business, like there are no gurus in the computer world. We are business people.

    Should we worry?

Hi Sue. I understand there are some weird problems going on there and up north in the country too. What really surprises me about development over there are cases like this while fighting the green laning issue with off roaders. Was invited to Cornwall last year, about to get on the plane...

    Should we worry?

Well not really. We all know Hitler was bluffing when he decided to ignore the treaties and rearm the military and the same went for the militarization of the Ruhr Valley but outside of that France was the only country capable of actually holding them back and they were indecisive within their...

    oil leftovers

OMG... let's be really cheap and just try to scrape the oil out of each bottle!!! Oh I'm cheap ...:p Seriously, here is a trick. I have somewhere a inch PCV pipe about two feet long with the caps of oil bottles drilled out to open the tops up and stuck in the pipe which has holes cut out...

    Sprinter Curb weights and Payloads?

Why not? They make a 2010 3500 with a 9990 GVW. I had one sitting next to my truck for three days this past week.

    Should we worry?

I understand to a point the Hitler part with your statement, you need to read a bit more about the actual history to understand why things happened the way they happened, but Stalin? Who in Europe would have stopped Stalin? Surely you don't get the part that the Soviet Union was a closed...
