    Why do Christian drivers...

Yep that works when it is the original. Using copies that have been modified by man seems to be ... well ... not really answering all the questions.

God Bless This Town Of Patriots.....

I understand what you are saying and feel for all of them but the problem is that no person is more important than those rights - period. The harm I speak of is physical, not mental because of a simple issue that mental harm is not seen or measured and is subjective to the person(s) who make...

    Liberal or Conservative inspired?

It's a libertarian move, the others like liberals and conservatives are just dumbfounded and can't react fast enough.

    Classified ads

this pops up not as often as it should Maybe we need a moderator who can edit ads? Maybe even remove some? BUT my advice is simple and based on the following ... It sucks to read an incomplete description and then try to guess what is meant by some dumb abbreviation that the person who...

Maybe the same reason that others have not been moved into appropriate forums

    Why do Christian drivers...

But then TJ, your post begs the question what is a Christian and who gets to decide that? I consider myself a follow of God, and Jesus but also I believe in if one is to follow the basic rules and commandments God wants us to follow, then one is a follower of God. I don't want some religious...

    Michigan illegally harassing CVs?

Well I don't know... it seems that he is either really full of crap or they are actually catching him at something else. The thing is as I was reminded of this last night that if a van is running under an authority, the authority needs to fill out and file for an UCR. It does not matter if it...

Thinking about getting in to Expediting

I can admit to that, I would like to be there - said trade you if you didn't notice. :p The real issue is not getting into this business but giving up something that you can not return to. A lot of people still think it is easy to quit the 'corporate' world (like a lot of them are in it...

    Why do Christian drivers...

Well I guess... but to me what's the big deal, it's their truck, they can put stickers all over it as long as they don't cause anyone to get hurt by their actions while putting them stickers on. By the way, how many of you seen any devil worshipers with their religion's symbols plastered on...

Looking for Advice on this Job Offer

Well that's good that you found all of that out. I do see the numbers working, but barely. I didn't want to be part of the crowd to say 'run' because there was something else you didn't mention and I can't say about this company or the work so I assume it won't matter. By the way, this is not...

That all depends on the agreement with the owner, the contract should spell out the details. As for the per diem rate, check out http://www.expeditersonline.com/forum/tax-topics-expediters/40338-per-diem.html

I was too but I was also taught that there is no right not to be offended. Social decorum and cultural habits are not included in the constitution and shouldn't be. When they do appear there, it is a worthless piece of paper which we can forget. Actually I may not give a crap, even though I...

That is true Dave but many expect to be paid for everything, like DH and taking pee tests.

Yes it is. You will be either an employee of the owner or a contractor for them. MOST are contractors and they get a 1099 at the end of the year. Technically you are a sub-contractor, that is a contractor to a contractor because the owner is a contractor to the carrier.
