maybe I can tell that now that the windows are open..so cool in here this morning I turned on the heat for a few minutes. It's hard to cook for just one person, but I'm making wings, blue cheese dressing and baked beans. That just sounded right this morning when it was cool!:)

I made mine with freshly grated sharp cheddar and pimento and homemade mayo.... Boy was it good!

8/3 Ready..,my first tasty tomato...yellow crookneck squash..several butternut squash are forming..more cukes are ready..the shallots are getting bigger..already had our first helping of Yukon Golds.. And so much more to come!:) I gave my sister 3 big cabbages so she could make sauerkraut...

Just made my hubby a chocolate zucchini cake and a cool macaroni and veggie salad..he's been working hard!:)

And the fella picked up the hay yesterday and my combiners came in...busy day!:)

and meanwhile back at the ranch, mama picked all the apricots and put up 5 pints of apricot jam and the first 2 jars of dill pickles..cukes are a little slow this year!! Now Ken's got the tree man in doing some work on an old dead tree and other related stuff! :)
