Next truck, asap or by early summer

Well GM didn't stop me picking up and delivering with a 1989 IH and 1995 GMC for the past three months. Made two Ford deliveries a few weeks back at the Rouge, used the IH both times and not a peep out of them. Is this a plant specific issue?

    Dang gum junk!!

Well hate to say this ... ah not really but anywho ... if the carrier tells you where to go, then they seem to act like they own you. ANY qualified qualcomm dealer/repair center should be good enough for them because there isn't a thing special about the equipment.

deicer in a straight truck air lines ?

That's what I'm wondering about. I don't think I ever used deicer in my lines, I have some ... somewhere but ...

    Dang gum junk!!

Belleville? OH you mean Rawsonville, those guys are something else. Won't go there any more, I don't think FedEx approves anyone, I think they just use any approved Qualcomm dealer. I went all the way there for a quote on parts and they said "if you are going to buy them, we'll give the...

    Logs, Randoms and 34's

Well I'm not beating them up either. BUT with that said I have two different answers, one from FedEx and one from my present company. There is a real legitimate reason why I am saying what I am saying - get the information directly from the company and see if it makes sense. While your at it...

    Dang gum junk!!

Oh... I guess ... wasn't PJs also an approved shop? After seeing their workmanship, I wonder what needs to be approved?

    Logs, Randoms and 34's

Cheri, we're talking about FedEx, I've been called every quarter for 4 or 5 quarters in a row and each time I was told it was random but found out otherwise. Layout - ask your CC or the safety department and get a name.

    Dang gum junk!!

So what does FedEx have to do with it, that's an install issue and the vendor that put the stuff in needs to pay for the repairs.

    CA and AZ check points

I actually enjoyed going through the check point and being asked in a heavy Spanish accent if I have more that 4 people in the truck.

Next truck, asap or by early summer

If you can get a 'fresh' rebuilt 3126 for under 10k, buy it. I don't think you have a good job with a bottom end done for under 6k

My Next Cargo van. The Nissan NV

They are not really selling, they are leasing and this will again bite them on their a** when the market dumps more lease returns in 18 months. They didn't learn a thing from their poor management that drove them into the ground which is the same management that they have - they are still trying...

You call your CC or who ever in the food chain and ask them what you do.

My Next Cargo van. The Nissan NV

Don't know, I would assume it was the same one that drove around Detroit during the auto show which was a high top but shorty. Either way, it seems that the American market, including Canada but excluding Mexico doesn't get the high mileage vehicles like the Ford Fiesta Diesel or the other MB...

    Looking for motel discount packages

I thought about using Expedia for a hotel room but when I thought about the possibility that a pair of giant Pauley Perrette eyes may be looking through my window at the hotel kind of scared me off using them

My Next Cargo van. The Nissan NV

The high top wouldn't be too bad but there are already a concern with toppling over with high center of gravity. They look OK, I mean if you are a Nissan fan (which I'm a GT-R fan but that's it), you may get all *** over the thing and salivate at the thought of adding the super duper sprinter...

    Dang gum junk!!

Well I got to tell you Layout, FedEx let's you slide with some things that my carrier doesn't - like logs. If EOBRs are in the cab, it will help out a lot, more than you ever think. However it isn't the design of the product that is causing the problem but the way the carrier handles the...

    Dang gum junk!!

Well there is always an opportunity cost involved when you are making those BIG BUCKS while working with a LARGE company - you traded the freedom for big brother and you're compensated for it by being allowed to be part of the elite of the fleet. Oh the humanity ... :D
