And the snow is continuing to melt..am hopeful I can put some of these starter plants in the ground soon. Out here we usually plant the potatoes by Good Friday but I think that'll be later this year. It just has to be warmer to set my plants out in the greenhouse on the deck...

That's pretty cool! My sister has chickens up on the ranch, but after she tells me about having to shovel a trail through the snow to the chicken coop, the idea kind of lost it's charm...:)

I wasn't going to do this but since there's still snow on the ground I'm bored! I actually started growing things a few months ago when Ken set up a hydroponics system in the basement and we planted some bush beans. I just ate the first three beans and there's plenty more coming...

The snow quit for today..and am hoping that's the last of it! Seven months of winter is just a mite too long!

Ok you funny guys...I just transplanted my tomatoes into bigger pots today, already had my first little helping of green beans and my cabbages are heading up! Plus I've got four flats of flowers that are growing nicely! and yep...there's still snow falling...ya think I'll be ready? :o
