Building Your Business Plan Spreadsheet II

See I knew this is another "Phil Project". How do you Phil maintain copyright control over something that is in public domain already (OOIDA) and what others have done for themselves? Well I decided to pull my from my website so not to interfere with the 'copyrighted' version of what Phil is...

Chris Christie takes state helicopter to son’s baseball game

Oh and how does one pay for the ride? Does the state have a billing service for these things? Yep cut a check to cover the expenses, which should include more than the fuel, like the pilots and so on - the same as if a citizen needed a ride. Regardless of his political party, the excuses...

    Natural Disaster Victims

Paullud, don't be offended by this... but it is a really sore spot with me; "and show his son and daughter what a real man can do for his family" Real men don't trap themselves into using drugs, they ovoid the temptation to use in the first place and make examples of themselves. I know many...

Chris Christie takes state helicopter to son’s baseball game

I like those excuses. BS. Air time in a helio's are gained other ways too. They need to maintain their proficiency after they do their check flights for those specific helicopters but that doesn't seem to be a "federal" requirement.

Gadget Addiction Leads to Selling of Teen's Kidney

Regardless if I rasied kids or not it is a political position I take on the rights and freedoms of individuals. Denying a pregnant teenager her 'rights' is not really her right, she is not an adult and has no real rights until she is emancipated. BUT that's not the point. The point is that if...

    "multiple expletives" ACLU

It is obvious that the blogger has to make a post of some sort to keep his readers coming back for more but so is the problem that this has been going on for 50 years with the ACLU and prisoners. There isn't really a point to be made when it is old news.

Chris Christie takes state helicopter to son’s baseball game

It really doesn't matter because as Diva said, waste is waste. The better question for the people of New Jersey is how much money is it costing them to protect his family?

Gadget Addiction Leads to Selling of Teen's Kidney

I don't see the difference. Teenagers are capible of deciding for themselves, and going back to the Women are masters of their own body thing, we protect teenagers in that sense in many states where they are allowed to decide for themselves.

    American Idol

I seriously feel that the show is scripted with the outcome decided before the people audition. They have to fill a certain criteria which is created to attract the same 'audience' for ratings and if they were actually "live" it would be a big risk to have something happen that would offend...

Gadget Addiction Leads to Selling of Teen's Kidney

I know many will disagree with this but if it is a womens body and they can have certain procedures done, it also goes for a mans body and the harvesting of their own organs for money.

    Problem with van

Interesting, you only break your arm if you do it wrong. By the way, the photo is from a Model A repair manual and the guy is not starting the engine. As for having points, condenser, rotors (which many cars still have) and a carb, sometimes troubleshooting those older vehicles are a PIA.

Gadget Addiction Leads to Selling of Teen's Kidney

Yeah? Shouldn't that be a fundamental right for all in the world, if they want to sell a body part to buy something, they should be able to.

Global war on drugs has 'failed' say former leaders

I would agree with the cannabis issue, the use of the 'herb' goes far beyond the druggies out there and the benefits in some circumstance outweigh the negatives. The bigger issue is where does the line for the feds to determine what is legal and what isn't start and where the states right to do...

So Glenn Beck Thinks He's A Prophet Now?

Outside of the usual banter, there is something about beck lately that seems he is losing it on certain subjects. I too listened to him the other day and I wondered if he actually believed what he was saying about the end of days, etc. ... By the way he is a Mormon convert, came to the...

    Rate per mile?

Yep dedicated, which means it is different freight but the rate for the service is about right.

    Garden Corner 2011

Today seems to be a bad day overall. Fema won't repair the basement walls, the adjuster said that there is no appreciable damage to them outside of a leak or three and even with the washing away of sand that supports the drive slabs, it doesn't count as a repairable item. They will pay for the...

Global war on drugs has 'failed' say former leaders

That's interesting; some of the people on the panel benefited directly from both the money we as a nation dropped into the fight and the money that was generated by the drugs being smuggled into the US.

    Natural Disaster Victims

Well see here is the thing, many do believe that the 'victims' were minority poor in New Orleans but in reality the entire city benefited as a victim state from the 'chocolate city' mayor down. The demands of those to right a "wrong" which never was, was first and foremost an issue for many of...

    "multiple expletives" ACLU

No it isn't just lawmakers, it is religious leaders, it is people who feel that criminals owe a debt to society and not the victims, it is the people who are complacent in their lives and ignore crime. It is most of the population who are both liberal and conservative alike. When was the last...
