can anybody tell me what's wrong with this deal

I've seen threads get sidetracked but how the hell do we go from spam about elogs to a cheerleading festival for CRE ? Who generally wouldn't enter a conversation about elogs. Speaking of the big M, how are you going to handle a guy picking up a placard load on January 8th. What will he be...

    Single straight truck jobs

Greg, I guess it's just semantics. I think of a career spanning a long period of time. You can argue that but be careful, I wouldn't want Rags to think you're an antisemantic. Rags, wash your hands......

    Single straight truck jobs

Back on track, there are solo straight truck jobs out there. Fewer solo positions than team positions. Look in the classifieds. Put an ad selling yourself in the classifieds. If you're new, you're better off teaming at first. Learn the business. You'd be more attractive to a fleet owner if you...

    Single straight truck jobs

I look at a career as a life's work in one field. If I sold trucks, drove trucks, dispatched trucks, and repaired trucks I would say I had a career in trucking. If I drove trucks, ran a restaurant, sold cars, ran a gym, and hung gutters I would say I had a series of jobs. It wouldn't matter if...

Grizzly in first place with 100% accuracy thru 2 games. Lucky for him I chose with my heart instead of my brain. I expected much more out of Green Bay. As did others.

    Single straight truck jobs

That's a weird opinion. Many people have made a career of driving other people's trucks. Lots of upside. Lower risk. Less headaches.Less stress. More free time. Use your available credit for other things. Freedom to walk away easier. If you get to a good owner, you can be treated fairly...

Raised roof & back door cargo vans?

At a car show a few months back I spoke to KITT. I asked him if he knew any Promasters. He said yeah, and knowing that I had once expedited, said " BTW, the Promaster thinks most expediters are ugly. "

You work for a weird carrier. Weird in a nice way. Load 1 probably pays guys to have them in their vans. And gives them free truck washes if they'll answer them. Or back massages. I just often hear about van guys getting a call, or missing the call, on a load.

I wouldn't know that. I don't associate with vanners. I did back in the 70's. 77 Dodge SWB, tricked out, shag carpeting and all. Many LOADS were delivered IN that van. Ahhh, memories.......
