"Painted into a corner"? Not even close.

    Zimmerman Not Guilty

Enough already. You choose to believe that Zimmerman is an honest person who told the truth, and Martin was a thug. I choose to believe neither of those is true. BTW: about that "Little Trayvon" remark? When I was in my senior year of high school, I probably didn't show up 50 days the entire...

    Zimmerman Not Guilty

The suspension for possession of a baggie with 'trace residue' of marijuana is the one thing he was unquestionably guilty of - but if that makes him a thug, well, he'd have plenty of company, and at one time, it would have included me. [A lot of years ago, but still...] The irony is that...

    Unknown laws are everywhere!

Linder: Traffic coming to a stop on the interstate could mean something's wrong, or it could be just a normal day in Chicago, DC, Atlanta, LA, NYC.....;)

    Unknown laws are everywhere!

I'm totally down with the idea that if you can't drive faster than 35, it's time to get off the road till it gets better. There is one time I do use the hazards, though [besides going uphill real s l o o w]: when there's fog so dense you can't see a vehicle until you're very close. I'm still...

    Unknown laws are everywhere!

A recent post mentioned using hazard lights to warn of slowing traffic ahead. That's something I've never felt right doing, for reasons cited in the article linked, so I've always 'flashed' the brake lights instead by tapping them. I had no idea one could be ticketed for using flashers in a...

    Zimmerman Not Guilty

All of what I typed was taken from here: Documents Given to the Defendant_R (1) Go ahead: find the proof that anything I typed was not supported by fact, or that I claimed it was, when it wasn't. I speculated about Zimmerman grabbing Martin's arm, yes, because that's the only scenario that...

    Zimmerman Not Guilty

The part about not being able to remove the weapon while being straddled was recently demonstrated by 2 students at a Kung Fu Academy in NY, the rest was taken from the documents [statements, photos, reports] released by the state of Fl. I don't accept what "the media" says, until I've verified...

What Truck Parking Changes Have You Seen With New HOS?

Creeping along is the worst! But it does keep my personal nightmare scenario from happening, where I fall asleep waiting for everyone to move, and no one wakes me up when they do.

    need help

Please tell me you're not typing and doing your deadhead miles at the same time, because that would be illegal. And stupid, too.

What Truck Parking Changes Have You Seen With New HOS?

If my truck were stuck in a parking lot on the highway, and it was a reasonable time to take a 30 minute break, I'd move to the sleeper berth and if 30 minutes passed without movement, I call that legal.

    Zimmerman Not Guilty

Ignoring what doesn't fit? You mean, like: Zimmerman was following Martin, but the only one who says Martin then followed Zimmerman is Zimmerman. Who has every reason to lie. Zimmerman had a gun, Martin had a can of iced tea. Zimmerman knew what was happening & why he was following Martin...

    Zimmerman Not Guilty

No one questions the right to defend oneself. But that right does not include the right to be a primary aggressor, then claim self defense, which is what a lot of people [including me] believe Zimmerman did. He won the battle, but he may have helped to lose the war over the right to carry...

    Zimmerman Not Guilty

The version I like is the one used by those who train people to carry weapons: do whatever you can to avoid using it.

    Zimmerman Not Guilty

I could list the Republican equivalents, but that's completely off topic. A right to cause the death of another person ought to be accompanied by good judgement - especially in these times, when so many want to eliminate that right.

    My first 30 minute break

I'm thinking that statistics that deem night driving more dangerous are extrapolated from accident records of noncommercial drivers, who are not accustomed to driving at night. It's my preferred time to drive as well - I enjoy the less traffic and noise environment.

FedEx Custom Critical to start posting loads on the Sylectus

Rates fall because there are more bidders/brokers in the process, adding extra layers to claim a slice of the pie. So how does that explain your comment in post 11, about having the free market taken from the industry by all the garbage from DC? It seems to me that it's precisely how the free...

    Zimmerman Not Guilty

Twice [in his original statement, taken hours after the shooting, and again in the interview with Hannity] he said Martin "put his hands over my nose & mouth" and that caused him to reach for his gun, only Martin beat him to it. That didn't & couldn't happen, and it's hardly a "minor"...
