    Progressive raising rates

Don't worry, they make it up in other ways. A friend of mine faked a load, so he could get a quote from Panther. FL to CA was $4/mi for a D unit. I wonder how many saps they get for that price.

    Pet food stamps?

You bring up a good point, Muttly. Maybe the Democrats will fight to get animals the right to vote. I can just hear Obama saying, "We'll keep those mutts voting Democrat for the next 200 dog years."

    NYT 8 weeks for $1

How bout Angry Birds? That fits NYC to a tee.

    NYT 8 weeks for $1

It is overpriced, since the only thing I would use it for is lining the bird cage... if I had a bird.

In other news - Pilot Truck Stop Coffee

It's Kopi Luwak coffee. That civet poop is a real pick me up! ;)

    Free Cell Phone Minutes!!!

Oh, I agree they're all bozos. Tho Reagan isn't completely clean, he didn't have the line item veto he was wanting, so all this crap shoved into a defense bill could hardly be "on him". From what I've read, this free cell phone thing came under Bush's watch, three months before the election...

    Free Cell Phone Minutes!!!

Helping one "afford" phone service, and giving it for free, are two different things. Carter passed the Community Reinvestment Act. Clinton helped make it into the ponzi scheme it became. Who is at fault here?

    Progressive raising rates

Here's a hint... they don't pay taxes neither.

Expedite With Tractor and Pup Trailer?

As much as I'd love to have a fleet of Argosy straights, I don't see it working, unless I hit the lottery. Most I find are overpriced, and I need something that's ready to go. Having a tractor and pup is like plug-n-play. I can use an older tractor to get things started, and get an 8 yr old...

You happen to have a license in there somewhere, hot pants?

Expedite With Tractor and Pup Trailer?

IMO, there is plenty of room to capitalize on that niche.

Expedite With Tractor and Pup Trailer?

The problem with that is that expediting companies, other than FXCC, do not tend to want surpluses of company owned assets. Yes, 53'ers are assets, but necessary ones. 28'ers are a gamble that requires hundreds available, in order to work.

I think this fits your premise.

Expedite With Tractor and Pup Trailer?

It is an alternative. With a dual axle, I believe you can run as much weight as in a 52'. But why take a 28' (I've been checking out low-mid 30'ers) instead of a 53'? Same reason people drive straights... they're easier to get around in. They're easier to park. And they give more opportunities...

Might Sequestration be a Boon for Expediters? If So, What Will You Charge?

Don't the idiots always screw something up? That's why they're idiots. :D

Expedite With Tractor and Pup Trailer?

This was brought up back in 05, I believe. I was this close to doing it myself. Even found the tractor. But like so many other opportunities, I chickened out. I honestly believe there's a niche to be made with this, as there is one with an Argosy and 28-30' box. Problem is no one will go balls...

Ah... gotcha. So he was likely used to spread a lie.

BreitFart: Yet More Neocon Dumb***ery ... at it's very finest ...

So, IOW, a reporter lied about his reporting, and another reporter/blog guy took it as fact. Hmm... so are we all suckers for doing the same thing? Or is the joke a lie, or the lie a joke? I notice it's Feb 24, not April 1. I'm failing to see the humor in it.
