I also use the scan gauge but the problem is fuel mileage with a diesel. For some reason it doesn't keep good miles but keep all the other data. I would also like to be able to clear the scan gauge after I use it but you can't on this model.

I agree with everything said and the other question how can carriers work with the bidding. I think the Sales departments need to get off their duff and get in front of the customers more. Everything now is hands off and done wireless and over the phone and nothing personnel at all anymore...

When Panther or Tri-State quotes you a rate for a run do they include the FSC in the load? Another words making the rate lower?? Just curious if this is just a broker deal or if the company's are also doing it.:cool:

Read the state test manual, it's not that difficult. Most of the questions are common sense. The one's you have to watch are 1) minimum reportable quantity. 2) Bill of lading questions. 3) placard questions. The rest is pretty easy.:cool:

Tri-state has a different FSC for each size truck? If that's the case then they set their own FSC rate instead of using the national average. Is that correct?:cool:

Your right on the gas verses diesel. I am also a diesel guy but looking at all aspects, it looks like a 6.0 in my new one. As far as the guy getting 18mpg with E85, I would have to see it to believe it. But all's fair in love and war.:D:D
