I miss doing Canada runs. Other than the usual heavy traffic around Toronto, I saw no problem with it.

I did a load once... 40 mi dh, then 45 mi loaded, then another 40 mi dh to get to my next pu. I did a favor, and didn't ask any of the traditional "What's in it for me?" questions. Never again. A straight truck should NEVER get that low... even from Laredo... and ESPECIALLY for a mini.

Actually, that's C&M's game. They are the "go to" company for getting something covered, and they win awards because of it. But I see what you're saying... someone doing that just to grab a quick buck, and not even knowing if they can cover it.

What's C&M paying now? Are they steady on their rate, or are they having to find cheaper crap?

I have no reason why people rush to put money into a 400 million jackpot, while one of 40 million would serve them just as well. Millionaires/billionaires have said that 30 million is about the point at which you could do everything you want to (within reason), and anymore is just gravy...
