Oh puleeze. Believe what you want. Never said he was taken down by big oil. From what I read, he signed a contract with the Pentagon the day before he was poisoned, then said, as he walked out of the restaurant he ate at like clockwork, "They poisoned me." He then proceeded to die. There is...

I do know of the inventor of the H2O car. He was poisoned the day after signing a contract with the Pentagon, or so they say. Money can only be made on a car like that once, as compared to a car that fills up with gas every three days. A super high performance battery has likely been invented...

I don't know a heckuva lot about batteries. But I do know they recycle them. Come to think about it, we have one in every running car to date, so I don't know why they're such a 'new' issue. I think their time will come, as we continue to use our resources. Wind, water, and solar, are the only...

Government is not the only entity that benefits from low MPG. Big oil does too. And I'd bet moreso, that it's the latter that has made a deal with the auto companies to keep that technology away from the consumer.

If you get a truck, you wouldn't have to worry about how many vans there are. ;)

Those batteries last upwards of 10 years. Of course there's an environmental cost. Their argument is that it's not as big a cost as something like coal, and I tend to agree. Trouble is, solar power is, IMO, not made to benefit the masses. It's the answer to one's living off the grid, if they can...

NJ Gov Christie to be probed.

But that doesn't answer my question. What states did before the feds started taking care of them (by stealing tax money the states would otherwise raise for themselves) was that they were forced to take care of their own problems. Granted, this was 1800s I'm talking about, but it's not...

    Canada Empty through Canada question

You can tell them you're empty if you're coming back from Canada. But if you go from Detroit to Buffalo, via Canada, you need a manifest.

    Canada Empty through Canada question

You need to fill out an in-transit form. At least that's how it was when I last went thru. http://www.questaweb.com/documents/Form-7512B.pdf

Moot, if your bank card wasn't working, do you think that could be related to your Verizon acct? Maybe someone hacked your whole shebang.

    Disappearing Industry

I've seen some very sick things, via internet. There was a 2 yr old girl who got run over by a truck in China. The truck kept going. People passed by and did nothing. Another truck ran over her. A bag lady stopped and helped her. She died. A lot of the videos have a very non-reaction from the...

Tho the cost of solar is coming down, it's still high. And you need quite a few of those smaller panels to power a house.

When has that ever been a reason NOT to do something in this country, if you have enough money? Two more examples - corn and shale. In this case, the government CHOSE the loser, as it usually chooses the winner.
