    New Ford Van

Didn't you once tell me that you were told from a guy at Claycomo Ford that they said most of their Transit parts were going to be made in the U.S. now because of logistical problems? If that was the case, wouldn't parts availability not be a problem for dealers, since parts may be made here...

Happy May Day and the rest of the month!

Breaking silence for a moment here.... Thank you, John, for having our back through these tough times by standing by the layover policy. I cannot even imagine what that is costing... Back quiet now...pom-poms back on the shelf.

    It's a Merry Christmas Month

That's why I love my Spartan body Ford. 77 wide inside. 75 after the insulation and wall covering. A standard 75 long twin mattress fits perfect between the walls on 2 skid loads. 3 skid loads I lose the bed. That's why I would love to see one of these in a 15 footer minimum length. Built out...

    It's a Merry Christmas Month

I think it will affect them pretty good. And if Ford ever gets their act together they may add to the hurtin' on a Sprinter. It just bothers me that no one has come out with something as close to a Sprinter as far as length.

    It's a Merry Christmas Month

I carry one of those hoses with me in the van, a 25 footer. If you connect more than one together, the water pressure is greatly reduced because of the inside diameter. But they are cool. They do contract pretty well.

The new Sprinter – Setting standards in quality

So you are willing to accept spending over 12 grand on 2 wearable parts replaced twice over a 550,000 mile time frame? Not including other maintenance items?

The new Sprinter – Setting standards in quality

You're missing the point. There are other alternatives out there that do the same thing a Sprinter can do for a lot less cost of operation.

    Worst Restaurant Experience

I like my cornbread moist and damp. That way when I put butter on it, it sticks to the cornbread. Not the other way around.

    It's a Merry Christmas Month

That is an awesome poem. It needs to be enlarged and framed and hung in the drivers room. Wrapping presents....Had to take a break....Than off to Trina's Dad's house to spend Christmas eve with her family...They are such a trip! Than Christmas day with my family with her. It snowed just enough...

The new Sprinter – Setting standards in quality

You will. Until it comes time to spend thousands on a DPF filter. Or a catalytic converter. $6,300.00 for both. Ouch. Just had a friend get his replaced. The mechanic told him 250-270 thousand is the average life expectancy of those so far. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using EO Forums mobile app
