    Fax from in the truck

I like some of the features the efax software has. You can scan in an image of your signature and attach that to documents, which is handy with signing rate agreements.

    Fax from in the truck

Efax is pretty good. I have an HP multi function printer with a scanner and a document feeder. I scan the pages in and the efax software will open the image files and fax them. Incoming faxes come into your email inbox and the efax software will open the attachments.

Who takes an instrument on the road?

Irish tin whistle and wooden flute. I played in a band for a few years, so I'm not that bad. I've never heard any complaints yet.

Whats the longest you've ever sat?? And where was it???

???? I thought that's what a carrier was, someone with authority. As far as definitions go, size doesn't matter.

Is it the ECONOMY? Or are we to blame for the low rates?

But is it really that simple? Two carriers might be paying the same rate and most people around here won't bother to look beyond that, but what if one carrier is running those vans at a nickel a mile profit because they have a larger number of vans. For this reason, they routinely outbid...

Is it the ECONOMY? Or are we to blame for the low rates?

Maybe so, but neither of those bids would have won a load out of Laredo last week. But still nobody's answered my question. Which set of numbers do we use to determine what freight is cheap, what carriers are bidding or what drivers are being offered?

Carrier A bids a van load at $1 a mile and pays the O/O .70 a mile. Carrier B bids a van load in the same area for the same miles at .90 a mile and pays the O/O .80 a mile. Which freight is cheaper?

Whats the longest you've ever sat?? And where was it???

Some of them do when they don't have units there. I've done some E-1 loads from the border.

Whats the longest you've ever sat?? And where was it???

I recently spent a few days down there in Laredo. I had a straight come down there and I had that truck loaded the next day. There was plenty of freight moving out of there every day; heck, I was placing several bids a day. The problem was that there were certain companies that shall remain...

Would you run for a company if they had this?

Weight capacity isn't what sets Sprinters apart from cargo vans. Most cargo vans can carry as much weight as a Sprinter. If the load is more than 48" tall though, that qualifies as a Sprinter load and should pay more in my book. If I was going to lease to someone else again, there's no way...

Currently 11 Alliance units listed within 50 miles. That doesn't account for companies that don't list their units on there, so there are probably close to 20.
