    Mercer cuts 200 trucks

Funny, my husband and I have been watching the stock market as well. Yes, every time he is on the news with a speech the market plunges. The one day it held steady he was not on air. The next day he is on air and it again plunges. Seems like he would realize what he is saying is causing...

Is Truck Stop Customer Service Improving?

Jeez, we were stuck in Dallas from Monday morning to Friday morning last week. We parked in front of the fuel isle at the FJ and weren't bothered by un-desirables at all. ( I'm starting to think maybe my hubby is an undesirable! Heeheehee, he's sitting here telling me I have hobbit feet...

    what a week

Didn't make much money this week, 3 small load totaling 1300 miles with half being reduced rate. Week ends on Tuesday so still might get a few more. All in all it has been a nice week. Good weather for the most part. Today the rain is gently pitter pattering against the windsheild as I sit...

Finally a carrier that works for their cut!

That is very sweet bluejaybee, it is never good to wish ill for someone else. When my husband and I are sitting with bills coming due (for instance in St Petersburg Fl 3/2) We will hold hands and offer a prayer to the good lord to get us moving that we may have the provisions to meet those...

Question on fully self contained sleepers?

 Oh my, I have been arguing with my husband for 3 years now that there was no way there where showers in some of these sleepers. He just kept insisting there was. Now here it is! Why, I am just flabbergasted! Wouldn't having a shower in the sleeper take up too much of the weight...

    TriState & Caterpillar

I think you hit this one on the head. On this one I think 'low runs' means few, not short or mini. The reason a lot of us Tri-State drivers, 'cherry pick', turn down the mini loads is because unless it is taking us to a better location it is detrimental as we know it will be our only load...

 1.10 a mile, I'll take it! yep, yessiree! just send it right over! heeheehee I'll take everyone of them 1.10 a mile cheap freight loads! :D OOps! Darn, that's right, our load rate is 1.05 a mile. :o

Finally a carrier that works for their cut!

What changes have Panther made? With T-State recent changes are (1) from 1.20 to 1.05 (2) from 50 free dh miles to 100 free dh miles (3) empty moves are pretty much a thing of the past.
  19. Yesteryear

    Do you fit this criteria?

 you've got to be kidding! No way! I keep seeing you drivers post about 'cheap freight'. Thought you meant reduced rate, you know like 5 cent off load rate per mile, but purple cow dung, 2300 miles for $200.00. That fright shouldn't just rot it should mildew and ferment! Smokin tomatoes...
