3 years in prison for driving fatigued

When dispatch starts understanding this like some safety depts do, then we should be fine. But I've gone to orientations where they preach safety out of the side of their mouths, and fingers crossed. We'll see which way the company goes when I call at 2am, saying I have to take a nap.

I find having done expediting for a lot of years, has made for an easy transition back into truckload. Maybe, in time, I will wander back into expediting. Problem I see now is, companies are expecting expedite semi drivers to work for the same rate regular semi drivers make. Nuh uh. If you want...

Or, one could get a cdl A, and run with the big dogs, then come back to expediting, and pick your poison... or do something else entirely. There are so many options out there, with the right license.

    Honey

I knew it would only be a matter of time before someone came up with a way to drain a hive of honey, without disturbing the bees.

From Straight Truck to Tractor Expediting

While I agree with you, to a large extent, my school put a lot of time into making sure we were ready for training w the company. I believe I wasn't ready to drive t/t.

You're right. Everything has come back to me. Trainer says I'll be done soon, and that it's nice that I know my way around. I think my straight truck experience has benefited me more than t/t school 20 yrs ago. I have 15 yrs in a straight, out of the last 20.

New York won't let me have any. Still here. Word to the wise... turn down anything to the Javits Convention Center, unless they make you rich doing it.

Hey Chet, good to see you. Just wondered, since I'm getting back into a rig after 20 years tomorrow. If they're still interested, after if I know if I'll make it, I'll write a letter too. I'm nervous as hell. I hope I have a good trainer.

    100% FSC, Really?

But unless that FSC is static, then it is based upon a variable that, IMO, can be looked at. Last time I checked, 100% was a percentage. If they argue that you're getting 100%, then you should be able to check their rate agreements to make sure that's the case.

    100% FSC, Really?

If their whole rate is flat, yes, I'd agree. But if they are promised 100% of the FSC in their contract, that being a variable, I'd bet you'd have every right to view the rate agreement.

    100% FSC, Really?

Ask to see the rate agreement.

Just had a conversation about this. Bacon lately, is like it's injected with bacon, and soaked in salt and sugar. I'm used to grease in the pan, that can be used to fry eggs in. The crap you usually get now... the salt/sugar goop... sticks to the bottom of the pan, and you can't fry eggs until...
