    someone is slackin off

It all started with Leo's buttermilk pie and then......well I'm not allowed in the country anymore and probably shouldn't talk about it .

Why does it work for some?

Being the newbie on OVM's list my key to being happy is simply to not fight the system....but do whatever you can to work it to your advantage. I learned on EO before I started this that it is a business, if you expect to be treated any differently you are in the wrong line of trucking. As...

Maybe it was your dealer of choice.....never had an issue with availability, even in Northern Ontario. Is it possible the dealer screwed up and blamed Michelin, just like a carrier can screw up something but post to the customer "driver delay"?

Don't know who you run with bayou, but your carrier may have a discount program with Michelin that could save you some $$. If you do get them, my 2 cents worth of advice, run them at the full pressure marked on the side of the tire (usually 120psi). The only issues I had with singles was...

If you are having blowouts often enough for this to matter you have bigger problems with how you treat your tires. In fleets, whenever I used them I would see a solid 2/10ths MPG improvement, no matter the driver. At 100,000 miles a year at 6 MPG and today's $2.92/gal the savings are $1568 per...

Would you sign on with Roberts Express?

I would like to buy diesel fuel for $1.12 a gallon again too, any chance of that happening? Panther now is like what Roberts was???? Really? There are several carriers providing the GOOD SERVICE you talk of.....and they are all doing it for a shadow of what the rates once were...welcome to the...

Panther & Expeditors Services. Why so slow?

If ES is not living up to what is in the written contract...that's getting screwed. If expediting with ES isn't turning out the way they thought it would.....that's life. All anybody OWES you is what is written in the contract...the rest is up to you. If all the critics give a movie rave...

    2011 Nissan NV

Gotta remember Jack, I work for the "professional RV'er" expedite company (as I've heard it called) so I always think leisure first! I have pondered the stretch, although I'm usually thinking of a Unicell type body on a stretched frame. Maybe I need books on tape as I have too much time to...

Greg, do you think Ford will beef up the Euro version of the Transit when they bring it here? From what I have seen, which I will admit is limited, the full size Transit looks even less HD than a Sprinter. I am wondering how the NA market will react to it when they have been used to the Ford...

What we really need is a GM or Ford van, 6 feet high, 14 to 16 feet long inside with a real frame, standard readily available parts (read cheap), with real truck suspension and axles in it, and a smaller fuel thrifty diesel or gas option. Is anyone in Detroit listening?

    2011 Nissan NV

Looks interesting. I like the idea of a real frame and larger components (brakes, 8 bolt wheels). Looks like Nissan got a lot right with this. I love the idea of the nose like a pickup, open the hood and actually be able to get at stuff. It's still small. They talk of 300 cu ft of space with...
