I do agree a lot of it is political. One can't deny he has had the upper hand with union dealings and has been successful at it. As to what the public supports or doesn't is debatable. He did survive a recall so there is that.

Same problem as OReilly. When interviewing, he talks and interrupts people that disagree with him. Harder to comment on him though because I seldom watch his show.

Just my personal opinion, I do like some of his "Talking Point Memos". Not a fan of his interviews. Cuts people off and talks over the top of them constantly. Although I did enjoy his interview of Barney Frank. Outside of that, the other thumbs up is "Watters World". That is hilarious at times.
