Good morning folks. At home, getting ready to go back in service. But, sure don't feel like it. I got bit by Eddie's bug. Lol. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk

    January, Here's to a fresh start !!!!!!!

Yesterday I got a niiiice load, both mileage and pay. So I was backing into the dock to get loaded and then a nice shiny Freightliner M2 straight from XXXX (a major expediting company advertising on this site) backs into the next dock, both of us got out and we started shooting the breeze. We...

Just a thumbs up to the Load One team. I don't even remember when I went through a weigh station last time. So, again, thank you, John, for providing us with DriveWyze, and thank you to the other drivers for keeping our score low. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk

Funny you ask. I just got the book, am reading it now so I can take the test. Check out ARRL | Licensing, Education & Training | Getting on the Air . Here you can find anything you need to get your license.

    Millhouse logistics

Yeah. Been there, done that. They make it seem like it is free since they don't charge you upfront, but they keep charging you for a few months after you sign on.

    January, Here's to a fresh start !!!!!!!

Finally got an overniter that delivered this morning to Columbus, OH area. With about an hour left I pulled into a rest area for a bathroom break and when I stepped out of the truck I almost hit the ground. It was so unbelievably icy, don't know how I did not notice it. Then, with only 14 miles...

Pretty windy at my house also. I'll take the warmer temps over last week though. Got a few calls today but nothing materialized. Time for a nap I guess.

A new van might be a huge write-off, but you pay 3*huge for it or more, especially in expediting. I'd rather have the money in the bank than pay them for a new vehicle and get a third or less back at tax time. Think about it.

Quiet here also. Not a single call today, and when you think about it, last week my phone rang almost constantly. Lol. But, the day is still young. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk

It is an Automated Manual Transmission, basically, a manual transmission that the computer shifts the gears for you. As a manual, it doesn't have a park, so you can leave it in drive, just like you would leave a manual in 1st gear. This would be the Promaster that I would get if I had to buy one.

I always liked the non-white vans. If I would have bought a new van it would have been something other than white, but I am too cheap to buy new. The closest I came to buying new was a new but left over one year old van, which was white. Maybe if you waited a few more months you could have...

    January, Here's to a fresh start !!!!!!!

We got a good amount of snow last night and it is still coming down. I will be stuck home for a while. Hopefully by Sunday they will get to plow the roads in our neck of the woods. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk

    Cargo Van's starting to log?

You have it better now than when I was there. I remember a few loads that were around 710 miles (including the deadhead) and they were swapped out because they were over their rule of 700 miles. One was from Atlanta to Chicago, dispatched the day before for an AM pickup. They expected me to...

I got 5 offers going into the thick of the snow, so I passed. Wanted to get away from it, but no luck, so I think I p***ed of enough dispatchers already (5 refusals, 2 for the same load). OOS till Sunday.

You won't make any money driving a van for the other companies either. Hehehe.
