I must have missed something because I have never seen any of the comments from ATeam about suing anyone. When we signed on with FedEx at orientation we were told that we would be followed at times by the Smith System. Maybe they have changed to a new person now..that was about 3 yrs ago...

i think Dometic has an a/c that runs off batteries only. It charges back up when truck is running. Saw it at the truck show last year.

you could probably buy a new truck for $2000 a month. We had priced a D Unit out for about $1900.00 month with no money down. It had 96" sleeper with Sat tv plus liftgate.

There was something on the Atlanta Ga news last night about the truck strike. I was half asleep and didn't catch it all.

That doesn't seem like very many miles for 60 days. Unless you are getting $2.00 mile. Which would make it ok then. :p

Maybe if all of the US factories had not moved to China, India etc their fuel demand (to operate them) would not have increased thus making the fuel skyrocket in USA...so all that junk that we buy from China is causing us to pay higher prices for our fuel ...does that make sense?:confused:

The most painful thing I have done is missed the last step on ladder for the top bunk. My hubby told me to make sure my feet were on floor before letting go of ladder...guess I didn't listen. I let go before feet hit floor, fell backward and hit the gear box (auto trans). Fell to floor...

That's exactly what I was thinking.. folks will be too scared they will lose the load before someone else accepts it so....fedex will now have more people taking crappy loads... without all the negotiating that goes on.

I believe that Covenant and US Express are owned by brothers. Each brother owns one of the companies. I read that in one of the trucking magazines. They had an article on Covenant.
