Doesn't say in the qualification paper that fedex gives out say that you have to have 6 months exp in Surface, have the proper truck with equipment or be recommended by another WG person to enter WG. That's what was in my papers that my recruiter gave us when we started at Fed.

Greg you are 100% right. It sounds just like the same boat we were in. It didn't matter where we went or how many loads we took..that is all the money we ever got offered. For some reason we were on the "list" for crap pay. some of the others that work for Fedex seem to be on the higher...

Yes you are right..never argue with your dispatcher as they are the ones you have to get your loads from. You might think it,, but do not say it *LOL*

I'm with Ark, when we signed on with the Fed we were told no negotiating. but what happened when we turned down a load.. they said immediately they would give us $200.00 more to take it.. so who's negotiating then?

It ain't what it's cracked up to be. Some get a better FSC than others, depending on the size of your truck. A C unit gets less than a D and an E gets more than a D. If you are WG you may get a better rate than that, at least a couple WG's on here say they get basically enough to only have...

It may be that but that's not what we were told at Fed Ex. They said we were subject to be followed at any time. Maybe not by Smith though?
