Did you noticed America was shut down today?

In my oponion we should set up a machine gun every 250 yards all the way across the border and build a fence with bones.

A few months ago I signed on with an outfit that doesn't use thw qc. What would you suggest in this situation? They haven't stiffed us yet. I heard some people say get a dispatch buster, but if I do that do I have to tell them I'm recording the conversation? If I do tell them this do you think...

    Manual vs. auto

Man censorship is wicked. The word that got # out is the same as the first name of the ##### Van :censoredsign: Show if you've heard of that.

    Manual vs. auto

I'm in a 2000 freightliner century with a 430 det. and a 10 speed eaton auto. The truck has cloe to 700,000 miles on it and it runs like a dream. The only problem I have with it is it take a few seconds to go into gear when you shift from nuetrel to drive. It has the clutch pedal for stop and...

    Importance of Freight

Is it just me or is it funny that in the article about driver emergencies that the first word out of those penny loafer, paper pushing, desk driving executives mouths is about freight. It seems to me that it doesn't matter what company it is the freight is more important than the driver hauling...

    Introduction,and questions.

I'll be honest with you i do good driving solo in a straight truck. I didn't when I was with Panther II mainly because they didn't seem to give solos very many miles. Do you have otr t/t experience? I do and I wish I was expediting in a t/t. The reason is if there is no expedite freight chances...

    The Little purple truck

Your first mistake is running for panther, but don't feel bad i made the same mistake. some people love it there but it didn't seem to me to be a good fit for a solo.

    Training a co-driver

I trained a driver once. He would sit in the jump seat not say a word. Then finally when he hadn't asked me any questions I started asking him questions. What do you know? If he said we'll i'm not real clear on how we do our paperwork i asked him if he wanted me to show him. Then I did. The...

    I have one question

I really like expediting and a few of the people are pretty nice. My question is why do most expediters seem to act like they are better than everyone else? I can seldom get anyone to talk to me in the truckstops. I bathe eveynight so I know it's not because I stink. I mean what's the problem...

    Smells

I'm a rookie to expediting. I've been in it for a lil over a year, but i've seen expediters do some pretty nasty stuff in the parking lots as well. The main problem with the 18 wheelers is the big companies will hire anyone. At least that was the way it was with the first company I drove for.

I love howes. I run a 2000 freightshaker with a 430 detroit. and I started using it because I had some smoke coming out of my blow by. It cut down on the smoke and give me better mpg. I use it everytime.
