Spraying roundup also puts it into the ground. I tear my plants out, and throw them into the compost pile. Except for tomato plants, that is. Those can carry disease to the pile.

Funniest thing the other day. We passed a dead skunk in the road, and I mentioned it smelled like sesame oil. I'm sure my son has no idea about sesame oil in particular, but he stated that it smelled like Chinese food.

Spread that expensive fuel around! It was actually nice when I was driving, because Love's was our main fueling stop. But it burned me up that they were easily 20-30 cents more than the mom n pop down the street. The little guy pays for the big guy's fuel discounts for sure.
