    whats the going rate?

I do perfectly fine at $1.35-$1.45 per mile and .50 dead. Remember everyones scenario is different. Plus I'm leased on with a company so your cost and my cost are not the same.

    whats the going rate?

I can say I wouldn't take anything less than $1.20 per mile plus a FSC for a str8 truck. You have to see what company you are looking at, call them they will tell you.

    It's been awhile

50 gals at TA/Petro is good for 10 days with the Ultra one card. 40 percent team is the going rate. 60 percent team if you are paying for fuel.

In the U.S., most OTR drivers are paid by the mile. Australia, though, is ending that practice

I agree with beachbum. So of the big players belong to association with each other and they go to meeting and I'm sure they come up with some stuff together but is any of it put into play? Then when they leave they talk bad about or try to steal each others freight, driver etc.

Who work or has worked for Expediter Service within 18 months ?

As a team with Fed-Ex CC. The money is never steady in Expediting. I made 20% of the load. There trucks are newer and if I ever needed something for the truck I made a phone call and it was handled. The trucks have pre-pass and ez-pass in them. I was with them last year.
