    Bring your best pic

I don't get any closer than sitting in the passenger seat really. I do have a good camera, so that makes a difference I'm sure. I do have some pics with some bugs, or a reflection or something, but usually thanks to my dear husband...our windows stay really clean. I found a setting for taking...

Here's a couple more. I'm trying to master the art of moving at 65 mph photography...lol. Trying to learn all the settings on my camera. Plus, I don't know much about taking pictures, so it's a learning process.

    Bring your best pic

I couldn't figure out how to do the big pictures, which is what I really wanted to do for a couple other ones. All of my pictures have been from the passenger seat moving down the road. It's been a struggle, but I think I've done pretty good. That flower one was in the front yard...

    praise report

I don't think he meant anything offensive by it, or to say it was good they got in an accident. Just that things were on his side lately that couldn't be explained by "coincidence." I don't even believe in coincidence. Too many people blame God for things that go wrong. It's not like the day...

    any suggestions?

Does anyone know of any place to wait while in carlisle besides the nasty truckstops? Have you found a mall, or a walmart that allows trucks to park? Just get tired of the truckstops here, and wondered if anyone knew of anywhere else to park here?

    Why can't they wash lots

I read this, and then tonight went for a walk and almost got sick at the smell of other people's pee everywhere. It's just disgusting! We don't even wear our shoes past the front seat of our truck. Who knows and who wants to know what gets on them. I don't touch the doors at the truck stops...

Ways you are cutting back to save $$$

Eating out of the truck is a big money saver. Also, not buying anything from the truck stop unless it's an emergency saves some. Since we have to have a phone out here we looked for the best deal among the carriers. Instead of paying higher prices for tons of minutes, we just got one of those...

I always enjoy finding out from other people where you can visit in your truck! It's so nice to be out there sometimes.

    Matter of perspective

Last time I went to the Battleship was when I was in elementary. I grew up in LaPorte, Tx right by there so our school took field trips there. Pretty neat as a kid. Would be much more interesting now though.

    Book Reviews

I just got this book called "planet walker." It's about this guy who takes a vow of silence for 17 years and walks different parts of the planet for 22 years. All this was due to the oil spill in San Fransisco Bay in 1971. He decided to do his part for the environment in an unconventional...

    Medications / Rules

I believe you can take those kinds of medicines, for anxiety, concentration, depression, etc...IF your doctor is willing to give you a letter that you keep with you and show your employer that says they give you permission to take the medicine and drive and that they believe it will have no...
