Well you have answered all my questions. I now know exactly what I'm going to do. And that makes me happy. I like to be happy.

Auto correct got me and now I'm not even sure what those words were even supposed to be. But at any rate, you still answered the question. So, i would need a charger as well.
Does having a charger, a switch, and an inverter seem like overkill? Can all three be wired together without an issue...
One thing I forgot to ask with that switch. Does it tour pet to the batteries to charge them via either shore or generator when those are the sources of power? Or do I need yet another device?

Turtle that seems like exactly what I will need actually! But I'm not sure if I'm detecting your sarcasm correctly. Are you implying with your previous post that this three way switch is not the way to go, or that it's fine, just don't keep using the method of me having to unplug outlets from...
Turtle, do you get what I'm trying to say in my original post? Do you have a thought or a solution you think would be easiest/cheapest to implement keeping my inverter, or do I need to man up and just get the all-in-one inverter/charger?

I'm aware. I'm not sure you are understanding my original post though.

I'm in a straight truck, but I know electrical equipment doesn't care what type of vehicle I'm in. But that isn't the setup I am looking for. I definitely don't want a battery separator. My APU should definitely charge batteries, but I also want my shore power to do that when it's an option...
No, I'm not. I have 3 12v batteries. They are wired together from positive to positive. Negative to negative. So what does that give me?

Alright, currently I have just a standard 1500w inverter. My outlets in the truck split, and one connection plugs into the front of the inverter, and the other to the shore power plug controlled from the outside plug. So, when I'm plugged in, I have to unplug the connection in the inverter...
Our trucks are 24v systems. So do we need a 24v inverter/charger, or will the 12v options be just fine?

I highly suggest avoiding Bulldog. They won't tell you the price until you are finally approved, and then you find out the trucks price is marked up a ton. Then you wish you didn't waste your time in the first place. Just saying.......

The shaking happens the most at speeds of around 45 to 55. But noticeable at other speeds.
It also seems to be worse sometimes, and then get better at others. The shaking is felt through the whole truck, seats, and through the wheel. It actually makes a rattling sound in the steering wheel...
It's me again. With yet another problem.
Our truck is vibrating/shaking what feels like side to side to me. What could be the cause of something like this, shocks....king pins....alignment? Is the side to side feeling a specific indicator? Easy/cheap to diagnose?

Okay everyone. It's been almost a month, but my truck is now fully repaired. What was it?
Testing confirmed a blown head gasket, further testing on the head confirmed blown head. Also had issues with piston cylinders, so an inframe overhaul was needed. Upon main barring install, discovered I...
9 grand to fix the head? I'm getting my head tested, just in case, and I called parts to check pricing, and it's 2200 for the part. I was already paying the labor for the head gasket. For 9 grand, on this truck, I can pretty much get a complete in frame overhaul done (and more).
What truck...
