Good points, the guard's main mounts are low and bolted to the sub frame. Depends on location and type of impact what will happen. Could be worse and cause more damage or nothing.

Update from Panama City Beech FL. Cleaned out all of our stuff and put it in storage yesterday. Three years since the van has been completely emptyed. Just about filled a 5x5x8 storage unit. Now it's in the body shop for two weeks. Hope the insurance check is good!
Found a local shop in Panama City, that is thinking $ 6,500 cash. Not to fix it like new, but useable. A voiding the insurance company didn't cross my mind. Just goes to prove, the only thing cheep in this operation is me.
Still out of service, Panama City Beech, FL. Sent insurance company estement for body damage from deer accedent on the 16th. Yesterday the 28th got the news that it's a total. Plan is to keep the van and fix most of the damage.
Dallas, day three, got body shop estement forwarded to Ins. Company. Had tires rotated, shopped for oil change. Just might hear from Ins. company review board tomorrow. 12,600 buckaroos to fix the body damage.

Kinda, she hit head to headlight. Just a bit of the hood. Fender pushed into the door, both side panels wrinkled. Grill untouched, of course light assembly toast. Main wire harness good, in engine bay.
West bound on I 70, MM 275, in KA. Bam, Bambi comes out of the south. Got in a really good head butt, then bounced down the side. The Pampered Princess fights on, to El Paso.
Loaded yesterday, Paducah, KY to Itasca, IL. Kind of slow for us this week. Drop and hope is the plan.
