Ran a Spencerville, IN to Lebenon, TN yesterday. Lots of weather, roads held up ok, wind was a bother. Windshield iced up, couldn't keep it clear at times. How many days till spring?

MT, Fort Wayne, IN. Agreed to do a short one from Greenville, MI, should have been done around 0930. Five hours at the shipper foiled that plan. Then got a call for a real short one, sorry. Hope something lite and long comes our way.

Eastern PA was a bust. Even agreed to try for a load out of Long Iland, didn't get it. Relocated to Youngstown, OH, fresh bait and chum down.

We didn't have ours serviced last year or this year. It started making a little white smoke when starting. Was going to get it serviced, now at Themo King as it failed to fire up. Sure did kick myself for not making it a priority.

MT, headed for Carlisle, PA. The formerly trusty Espar will not fire. Dang I hate the thought of going to a Thermo King for the fix......

Not sure what a average life or mileage would be. Many factors for replacement, also to conseder. We are running a 2011 long tall Sprinter with 540.000 miles on it. Until we hit a deer and the insurance company totaled it, I felt the van was at about half life. Now if the engine goes south...

Ran a Perrysburg, OH to Belvidere, IL, yesterday late in the day. After 5 days it felt like work! LOL

I wonder what the average miles driven per deer strike might be. We have driven this van 370,000 prior to our misfortune.

The deer strike was body damage only. The van drives fine, put 1.500 miles on it before repairs. Hard call, fixing it or not. We figure to get a couple more years out of it.
