    Nothing but the truth!

And this is exactly why western society is on the decline and has been since the end of WWII. The East Indian and Asians are taking over as they do not have the attitude of entitlement, nor do they believe the world owes them a living like the Western European and North American societies do...

    Nothing but the truth!

I think we are now reaping what we have sown as a society. People in general don't seem to think they need to take responsibility for their own actions anymore. Its ok to lie and cheat to achieve our goals and its only wrong if you get caught seems to be the words too many people live by today...

    Sirius xm

Taking anything to #1 means nothing. Look at how many people follow retarded garbage on twitter? And the fact that he's a judge on AGT is meaningless as well. Wait I take that back, he is very well qualified to be a judge on what is nothing more than a modern day "Gong Show".

    Sirius xm

I think he's a no talent loser that only made a name for himself by talking about and/or trashing celebrities and other newsworthy figures. Him and his ilk are not worth any of my listening time!

    Other drivers killing us!

Agreed, and with bad & unskilled drivers the carriers costs to operate their trucks will actually increase, thereby negating any cheap wages they might pay them. Customer service will also suffer.

    Strange!!!!

Laying on pee soaked (among other things) ground in a truck stop is a dangerous proposition in itself. :-<>

Number of miles it takes to pay for a Sprinter.

Good info LDB. I would like to add the following for people who are "running the numbers". 1) you will always have a truck payment I have heard so many people say "once my truck is paid off". Your truck is never ever paid off. Don't fall into that mindset. If you are financing the truck...

    Strange!!!!

<sigh> It was just a generalized remark designed to get people thinking about things like that which can and do in fact happen. It has been known to have happened before.

    Strange!!!!

He was probably a drug trafficker that was taping a load of coke to the underside of your truck somewhere. This after your dispatcher tipped him off that your next load will be crossing the border. Once you get to the consignee, another guy will crawl under your truck to remove it and then...

This happens from time to time: An Angel

Reminds me of the movie "It's a wonderful life". Maybe it really was an angel trying to earn his wings. :-)

It would be interesting to hear some points of view from Canadian drivers leased to TST.

Cargo Vans - What is your straight through limit?

Yes but the impression that I get from the way you are saying it is that's its hard for the plaintiff to prove and I don't think it is. As far as the vehicular homicide statutes you quote, they are all based on intent or some other criminal act such as a DUI. We are not talking intent here...

Cargo Vans - What is your straight through limit?

I disagree. What you are saying about damage and/ or collateral damage in an accident may be true, however why they are or are not regulated by the authorities is not the issue. The issue is wether or not a reasonable person should drive for that length of time straight through without a...

    T&K Trucking

One could take the argument even further by claiming that in a roundabout way, sylectus' 10 minimum requirement is what is responsible for driving down rates. Let the small o/o or fleet access and they won't have to support the multi carrier leasing model anymore and won't have to fudge vehicle...

    T&K Trucking

While I don't agree with some on here that believe it should be Sylectus' responsibility to police the carriers that are members to ensure that each vehicle in the carriers fleet is genuine and not duplicated in another members fleet, I would argue that sylectus' policy of only allowing board...

    Trailer Tail

I hope you achieve significant enough fuel savings to be able to realize payback in a short period of time. Unfortunately you will have to keep them "tucked in" if you venture north of the border as they are still "under study" here and cannot as of yet be legally deployed...

A 10 year hoodie made in America

I guess the bulletproof model is the one Trayvon Martin should have been wearing. ;-) (Forget waiting a whole day, I couldn't wait a whole minute to post that one.......heehee)
