    Why not?

People die from Presidents confiding in their wives? Do you have any examples?

    Why not?

I'm taking a wild guess here, but imho there's only one person in the entire country that cares that Hillary openly stated what everyone takes for granted anyways. :)

    Unintended Consequences?

Some times I'll read a thread on this board and I have no idea what any of you are talking about. But I'm sure there are times when no ones knows what I'm talking about. Either that makes us even or it means I'm stoopid twice. :) Yeah, I know. No need to say it.

A veteran reporter discusses the state of investigative journalism and government.

Re: A veteran reporter discusses the state of investigative journalism and government I watched 1/2 of the interview last night and I really enjoyed it. Thanks for posting it. I'll watch the 2nd half soon. She seems like a straight shooter and a very smart woman and I don't like the...

    Why not?

Easy son - you're talking about Alfred E there. The man? I spend my allowance on for all those years. :) The next president won't be Hillary. It's a woman's turn but that would be too easy. Nothing is ever that easy and nothing is ever that predictable. Besides, I don't think she's...

Is the IRS a corrupt federal agency?

It has it's moments. :) Somehow the title reminds of the glennbeckrapedandmurderedayounggirlin1990 hoax.

Fox anchor Megyn Kelly blasts Cheney.

But Fox News pretty much invented the Tea Party. They're the Dr Frankenstein and the Tea Party is the monster. :) Wasting away again in Wackadoodleville Searching for my 3 pointed hat Some people claim that Fox News is to blame All I know - it's all Obama's fault

Fox anchor Megyn Kelly blasts Cheney.

Doesn't she know what the deal is? First Karl Rove and now Dick Cheney. Either she's got nerve or Fox is laying the groundwork for a new direction now that they've almost single-handedly broken the Republican party in two. I just hope they don't become pro-liberal!!!!!!!! :) Here it is with...

    The Tea Party Strikes Again.

Well since you're not willing to say it, I will. The revolutionary idea that we, the 99-percenters should have some rights and even a little power is a liberal idea. I'm not saying the Constitution is entirely liberal or that all the founding fathers were liberals so please don't exaggerate my...

    The Tea Party Strikes Again.

LOL I like the Obama is left of Moscow line. :) Have you ever given even a moment's thought to the fact that the Constitution wasn't written to give power to the one-percenters? One-percenters already had all the power and have had all the power in every country since the dawn of time...

    The Tea Party Strikes Again.

I happen to think Obama is just slightly left of center. But then, so was Prez Clinton. Sure one could cite Obamacare and point the socialist finger but don't forget how many conservatives had similar plans - Nixon, Dole, Romney etc. I think liberals have had a tremendous inferiority complex...

    The Tea Party Strikes Again.

Does Fox have an Emmy awards? I think the guy in the morning is incredible. The morning blonde is excellent too. They both deserve Emmys just for 'the look' they give while heaping scorn on liberals. It's a strange mixture of loathing and hurt feelings. Their eyes even well up a little.

No more prayer at High School football games

I can't see where you'll find less chance for revisionism than words directly from Jefferson himself. There were letters between Jefferson and Madison on the subject but the particular quote I was thinking of was in a letter from Jefferson to the Danbury Baptists. Here's an excerpt...

No more prayer at High School football games

Actually the lack of a wall between church and state is a relatively modern invention. Fox strikes again!!! :) I recommend some googling on this one as it's an interesting subject. Jefferson and Madison discussed the issue in letters to each other and if memory serves, Jefferson actually...

And since y'all are talking about the somethingness of nothingness, I think it's useful to be clear about atheists. A person that doesn't believe in religion doesn't belong to the atheist "religion". That's just another Foxism to get people riled up. A lack of religion isn't itself a religion.

    What your longest layover?

Welcome to the wonderful world of freight hauling. I quit the business 2, maybe 3 times a week on average. I don't tell anyone I quit though - unquitting is easier that way. :)

No more prayer at High School football games

Christians have no problem with prayer before the games as long as it's a Christian prayer. If Buddhist or Muslim seems a little far fetched, substitute one of the less popular religions that are common in the US. Same diff.
