John You are so right that freight isn't 100% price driven. That is one of the biggest mistakes customers make. It goes back to the old saying, " you get what you pay for". It's like buying a car, you wouldn't by a Yugo over a Jag just to save money. I know I wouldn't.

I agree 100% with you Steve. Like I always say" most people don't plan to fail, they fail to plan". Asking the disbatcher about the load before being made aware on the the load would have made things easier. Never ASSUME anything.
