    Have the same problem. With the new omnitracs system only reads some stuff. You have to switch everything manually and it still does not keep mileage or MPH.

    Why would you want to access your freight. It ain't going anywhere unless you didn't properly secure it. I just go throw the rear door. There is no lock on the inside but you can put one. If you are that worried about the freight you can put a camera in the box.

    Was that 2 Thanksgiving ago. I was stuck up there for that freak snow storm the had. We got stuck on a main side road (state rt) people were bring us coffee and food. It was actually nice to see the people step in. They didn't know any of us.

    You can look on this site. There are a lot of companies/fleet owners looking for drivers. GOOD drivers are not easy to come by, Then you would have to find a trustworthy driver with your equipment and everything that goes into operatoring the truck, maintaince, fuel, Ins, workers comp, etc...

    Truckallover. Have you done an oil analysis? You should do one, they are cheap, you can get it at Napa. It will give you the news you need and then some. I do one every 50K.

    CoffeeMe. You can always go back to a van when the rates or freight gets better. Just be careful on how you get your CDL, some of these companies don't pay nothing when you go to there schools.
