What is the strangest load that you did as an expediter?

I've hauled some strange things in airplanes. A 1400# pallet of lead wheels weights from Smyrna, Tn to Oshawa Ontario for Chrysler. A cruise missle guidance system with an engineer from Camden, AR to Tucson AZ, then back the nexy day. A dolphin with handlers from Galveston, TX to Destin, FL...

Husband and Wife teams, how do you do it?

If a person will read other posts, and ask questions, they can really get some great answers on this site! Even though we had a pretty good idea of what expediting is, we've learned so much more here. We will keep reading, asking questions, and learning! We want to be as prepared as possible and...

Husband and Wife teams, how do you do it?

We both liked the veto power/me time ideas. There have been some really great ideas and observations in everyone's responses! We appreciate the guidance from everyone. I've had a lot of expediting experience by air and this seems exactly the same, only different!:) There is so much great info...

You are right on that! I always say that my goal in life is to make my wife happy. She likes that until I start singing "To Dream the Impossible Dream."

Husband and Wife teams, how do you do it?

You really don't know someone until you spend a lot of time with them. Our longest time apart was when I was a guest of the government for 14 months. Actually, I was working for the US Army in Iraq doing secret squirrel stuff. We've spent as much time together as we could since then. We've...

Husband and Wife teams, how do you do it?

I've been expediting by airplane for the last 12 years. I've run into several Husband/Wife teams at airports when I pick up and deliver loads. My wife and I have been married 30+ years. Not sure we could be together 24/7. How do you do it?

    A bit of history

I guess I can't spell or proof read! Sorry. I'll try to do better. I'm trying to learn about your part of the expediting industry. For the last 12 years, I have been doing it by air. I've talked to some really nice people with Panther, FedExCC, Landstar, and others I have met as they deliver or...

    A bit of history

I agree with LOS. Those are powerful pictures. If WWll occured with our current administration, we would all be learning German or Japanese. My father was an "exeiditer" in WWll in India, Burma and China flying C46's. He was part of what were called Hump Pilots. He is now 91 anbd still doing well!
